On the subject of the pill - a girl at my old work told me a lot about this whole mood-swing thing.

Basically, when you go to the GP and ask for "the pill", what they don't tell you is that there are loads of makes and formulations of pill. The one you get given first is the cheapest one.

She turned argumentative and pretty much lost it for a year until she worked out what was wrong. The doctor wasn't entirely surprised (a lot of women react badly to the cheapo pill) and put her on another kind. That made her weepy all the time. So, on to the next one and she feels much better on it. Even she was surprised how big a difference being on the different pills made to her moods.

So lads, when your girlfriend tells you she's on "the" pill - might be worth asking which one? Rumour has it some have 'nympho' side-effects too!

NB Best only ask during times of relative safety!

And is the "I've got a Thyroid problem" excuse the real reason why there are so many fat bints?

Once we've experienced passing a bowling ball out of our backsides
I've passed the equivelant of a cricket ball - does that count?

(and yes it was painful)

I am ferocious when "blob or rag week" is due.

Girlies who are in the know with the Pill, I have been put on the combined one......what are the general side effects of it? I suffer from intence pains and heavy flows, I have had time off work before due to the severity of the pain. I went on the Depot Provera injection before, but have recently come off it as it was causing me depressive symptoms (and my breast size reduced ).
Reasons I gave the doc were to reduce the problmes I have with my periods and also to give me the one that was more likely to have the terrible side effect of breast increase.

I think the brand names over here will be different to the UK so there may be little point in naming it.

Thanks in advance,

Yours PMTingly murderously,

Chelle.

Side effects of the combined pill for me were......

Depression, heavy painful flow, violent mood swings, headaches, nausea, tender *****, bloated stomach and a general run down feeling! Mini pill was worse cause made me irregular too. Glad to be rid of the whole chemical business! Never again!

Well, at the moment I am suffering from irregular periods, extremely heavy flows, evil stomach cramps, evil mood swings and tenderness.

I am hoping that this will reduce when I start the combined pill. On the injection, my periods stopped altogether which was heaven! But the depressive moods were intolerable after a while.

Oh gawd, don't get me started! I can smell women who are on the blob from at least 10 meters away. I don't know why, it's just like this 6th sense, for all the good it does me.

Some women must know they smell too because they put more perfume on to cover it up - it doesn't work.

I suppose it gives me a chance to modify my behavior towards them and steer clear.

LOL Lisa

Yes he is smooth talking Although he can't be that smooth because after much persistance he still hasn't managed to persuade me that him, me and my two sisters (one of which is a 16 year old virgin) together in bed is a good idea

It never will be a good idea either Kenny.
