too true johnny. they are better than having corroded rims after only 5 weeks how's yours gettinmg on?

It was lol, and my rims havn't corroded, maybe that's because i still have the standard sti rims on mine.

been in the states for the past couple of months working, got another month to do yet, bummer!!!!!!
should be back up around 17 feb, need to use the old mans driveway to do some work on the car. made mistake of leaving it lying with no-one turning it over. oh well.

Dave,
u do alot of your own work on your car, how easy is it to do brake discs and pads. have a set waiting at home for when i come up. was going to put it into eaglesham to get done but if not too hard was going to try myself. just dont want to f##k it up and end up in a hedge on the black hill.

piece o pi55 m8. basically, what you take off is what you put back on. be sure to take the lid off the brake fluid reservoir first and put a cloth round it as there may be some spillage and we don't want that do wee you'll need to get a good big set of grip too to push the pistons in a little so's the new pads will fit in over the discs. this is because of the depth between the new pads and discs against the old pads and discs.

knowing me it'll probably take forever, see how it looks when i get back, weather dependent.
if i dont decied to do it myself do you know of any good local garages that you would trust as i don't really trust any in helensburgh.
