In order :-

1.2 Nova Merit @ 19
1.4 Nova SR @ 21
306 XS @ 24 (ish)
306 Gti6 @ 26
1995 Impreza Turbo 5dr (modded) @ 27
1999 Impreza Turbo 4 dr (modded) @ 29

306s were bought with the wife: single car couple when we got married - nice cars or a house (no brainer really)

Future car?

Hmm not too sure - now got two young kids and the Scoob is OK but boot not big enough (the 5dr was no better)

A few years time though, but :-

STi 8/9 (bigger car) - I also don't buy new cars

Thought i'd add my cars to the list:

1976 MK3 Ford Cortina 1.3 2 door @17 (Too rusty!)
1976 MK2 Ford Capri 2.0 JPS @18 (Didn't run properly)
1978 Mini Clubman @18 (Boot floor fell out!)
1986 Peugeot 205 GR 1.4 @19 (Had a crash, fancied a new one)
1992 Peugeot 205 Rallye 1.4 @20 (Liked the look of the astra!)
Also bought a Mini 1000 to do up (Took it apart and couldn't be bothered putting it back together!)
1992 Vauxhall Astra Exclusive 170 Cabriolet 2.0 @ 23 (Mileage!!)
1996 Volkswagon Golf GTI 2.0 8v @ 28 (God damn slow!!)
1997 Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo @ 29 (Nice power, crap handling!)
Also had a mint 1982 MK3 Escort XR3 completely original (No time for it and got offered a good price, got the car for free!!)
1998 Subaru Impreza Turbo 2000 Wagon @ 31 (My faithful friend)
Next week will be getting a MK4 Escort XR3i which will be race prepared for the 750mc Hot Hatch series next year.
(Anybody out there with any pictures of Fords wearing Zebra stripes, gonna go retro with the XR3i)

Next car.....Hopefully an STI or maybe an EVO in about 3 years.

Mrs. Scoobypreza has had:

1978 Volkswagon Beetle 1.2 @ 17 (Brakes went, never fixed)
1993 Kia Pride Melody 1.3 @ 19 (Pink, need I say anymore)
(Edited by Mrs. Scoobypreza ....I hated this car had but it was so reliable for going to uni and back!)
1989 Volkswagon Golf GTI Cabriolet 1.8 @ 20 (Sadly killed outside our house by a rogue Nissan Terrano)
1992 Toyota MR2 @ 22 (Needed bigger car)
1997 BMW 318is Coupe @ 24 (Been a great car, really economical)
BMW soon to be for sale if anyone interested.

Unfortunatley she can't drive at the moment as she is pregnant and very ill with it, hence why the BMW will be up for sale, so when she does drive again she will probably have something practical, then again she might end up with my car and after reading this as she'll probably kill me!! But if my Scoob is still doing well when it comes time for me to change it we'll probably keep it in the family and she will have it, why get rid of a good car!

Might not be able to drive at the moment but I can read!! lol

Oi u Mr! I don't wanna sell my car!!!
You're right though no point having two cars while I cant drive
But I really have loved my car.

And as for me having the Scoob..... thats all well and good but what if I want a new one????
I think an Sti would suit me and the new baby!!!

To be continued I think ........... lol

20 Opel Manta GTE (Incredibly easy to oversteer, taught me lots)
20 Datsun 260Z (Totally rotten chassis)
21 Datsun 260Z (Utterly mint. 2.6 straight 6, triple 40mm carb etc)

Not many to list, so here goes...
  • E-reg Fiesta 1.4S @ 17
  • M-reg Peugeot 306XSi @ 20
  • V-reg Impreza Turbo @ 25
...and that's it!

The 'future' cars? Well, I'd like to replace the Scoob with a 911 GT3, but I'll have to save a few pennies first. No sign of changing the Scoob soon. I'm still enjoying it too much.
