The end of cheap CDs from CD-WOW
#32
What is interesting is that for the stuff I wanted (the film, secretary and elephunk) CD WOW, HMV and Play.com were all within £2 of each other.
However HMV sting you for £2.80 delivery at the end so they can kiss my hairy **** if they think they are getting my biz. But cd wow and play are within 70p of each other.
I usuually use play, but how quick is cd wow ?
I just remembered before that when I was first buying cds as a teenager, the usual cost was like £13 and I remember getting upset because I was a quid short. I think things are getting better but we are still getting stuffed !

cd wow are pretty good, the only thats dumb is they ship each item separately (?) so I ordered a load of CDs and a DVD before xmas and everything bar the DVD turned up, to their credit they gave me a no quibble refund. Typically you'll receive your order within about 4-7 days.
cheers

CD Wow are a superb company, and I am extremely dismayed by the underhand profiteering BPI forcing out fair competition. The only drawback I've ever found in ordering from them, or any online retailer, is the thieving ******* at the Post Office nicking my orders. Currently running at 40%. How can such a shoddy service carry the name "Royal"?

Well, I am from the poverty ridden north. I know and trust my postie, it's the minimum wage illegal immigrants in the sorting offices that do it. That, and a system which handles £m's of other peoples property a day with virtually no security to speak of and a legal system which protects thieves.
