Haven't read all through the thread, but, speeding fines are optional you know??
Why spend £300 on something when you don't have to??
I choose not to pay speeding fines .... simple .... how??
DONT SPEED!!![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Another mod is to fit Cruise Control if your car will take it, handy for those long Motorway Runs where the speed tends to build up. Helps the economy too. OK I drive fast when I want too which is quite often & use a detector but it will be a real pisser to be caught when cruising on the Motorway when the speed has just crept up.

"G B" Robert,
Is there a specific compatiblity between the Micro Road Pilot and the LRC100? Do they interconnect or are they run as two totally different systems? I'm thinking of upgrading from Snooper S5R.
Thanks
Jerome

Hi JFB
There is no compatability with the Micro Road Pilot and LRC100 - they are both stand alone units. This is not a problem as the LRC100 has a a discreet 6mm LED and warning buzzer which mounts underneath the dash.
If you are thinking of upgrading you will not be disappointed - mail me for a good deal
Cheers

Hi
I've got a road angel and have been very happy with it. It would be nice if it didn't beep as loud if you weren't over the speed limit near a camera and not beep at all if you are stopped. GPS based direction and distance indication could be fun.
But the data base and the speed with which it is updated is the single most important aspect of these units and I'd be interested if there is any way to compare the data bases from rival companies?

Hi WRX03 ppp
In answer to your question the only truely effective way is to run a number of units side by side. I personally used this when deciding on the best units to sell.
Cheers

I'm not advocating anyone doing this as it is ridiculous, and not something I would ever do myself.
But if you want to really avoid getting caught by Gatsos...
Don't break the speed limit!
