According to a a friend who used to work for mercedes when they offerd Tracker as an option on their cars after a couple of years they tended to break and stop working for no reason (it was his job to replace them). They are also a radio tracker so the effectivness depends on how many police cars or helicopters in your area have the right equipment to actually track the car. There is also a range on how far they can be tracked can't remember it but I thinks its only a couple of miles. You really want to get a sat nav tracker which the company itself can monitor and has infinte range.

For that about of money and the mileage of that car you are going for you should go for a RB5. There is one going in the for sale section check it out, or buy the one I was looking at for less money. If you are interested e-mail me i'll pass some more info onto you.

Waiting for my sister because she is gonna help me look around and it give me more time to find the car Im willing to part my money with.

You are right for that price I can buy someting better or newer. Most important is the service history and the HP clear. with the money i'll be saving i can take a chance and fix the problems myself.
didnt think about the price of the car once I drive off the forcourt. glade I didnt buy it.

Ive been there mate I had saved for 3 years for mine but the wife was 8 months pregnant, the car had too many miles, was a grand more than I could afford and I got no warranty, but nearly a year on I am still totally obsessed with my UK99 and dont regret it one bit.At the end of the day the grass will always be greener over the fence, a car will cost you money end of, that bloke in the pub got a better deal, it goes on for ever but the bottom line is you love the car, your not buying it cos its practical and from a dealer it doesnt sound a bad price.I would have no quarms buying private from a keen enthusiast with lots of money and you will always get a better deal privately but how long have you waited? Life is short m8 good luck.
