havnt really got one as yet, but I'm hoping to get everyone to Leeds for fitting either the last week or two in Feb or at the very latest first week in March.

Providing of course we get 10 or more people interested

Phil

I missed out on the last one, can you add me provisionally to the list (once a date has been sorted I will pretty much be a definate)

Also for those concerned about insurance etc, and are insured with Liv Vic (as me & phil are) Liv Vic dont give a rats about alarms & trackers they dont care if you have them fitted or not

Will do Steve, hoping to get the fittings in by the last week in Febuary, I'll need to get in touch with all the people interested to sort out days, times etc before these are ordered

BTW did you ever get you laptop project working ?

I can thoroughly recommend the BlackJax. I've had one on my last 6 cars(Evo 6,STI 7,911,Audi Cab Wifes MG & Mini ) and they've never been any problem.Dead simple to use and very effective , we have saved 2 cars by having them fitted , and no problems with the insurance. If you don't get one on your own car then at least get one on your Mrs's , great peace of mind.
Cheers
Gary

Sounds like a bargain, add me to the list ! I can make it mid-week no problems. My car is MY02 wagon, and I'll mail you my contact details.
Is it possible to re-install the Blackjax on another motor at a later date ?

Question

MJW,

Off topic / hijack - I posted a while back on a thread where you said you'd had PPP fitted - can you mail me as per profile as I've a couple of questions?

It's OK - I'm not IM or a dealer but I think I'm in a similar situation to you re imports...

BTW Blackjax is great when you put the code in on autopilot it's just remembering to do it...

TIA

Phil,

Fantastic price but it's no good to many of us if fitting has to be in Leeds. I'm sure if he could do southerners as well there would be loads more interest (like me )!!

How much for just the unit? I know it's more complicated but for some, the fuel costs in getting to leeds is more than the discount

I'll find out if these can be sent elsewhere..supplied only.

The great price we have for these units fitted is only available in Leeds, but I'll have a word with the supplier and find out if these can be posted after a payment is recieved, although I doubt he will respond to any queries about fitting them if he does decide to post them

I've Just got off the phone from the supplier and unfortunatly he's not prepared to post the units ,as he say's its not a DIY job and no fitting instructions are included

He has a very good reputation and isnt willing to jeopordise it for a chosen few.

So sorry guys its fitted in Leeds or nothing.

shame really as £ 130 fitted is probably one of if not the best price in the country

I tried

Phil

Unhappy

Thing is it would'nt be a DIY job, just us taking them to our nearest Clifford qualified fitter, so there's no potentional loss of reputation for him, only loss of revenue.

Oh well, thanks for trying.

Exactly - I had no DIY plans. I would take it to my local Clifford installer....

It should work on any car that has an electrical ignition system because I think the blackjax system uses this to bring the car to a stop after its activated. It mite be worth giving Clifford security a call first though just to double check.

theres some info on the system here & here but not much.
