Great run out, and the cake was delicious. This mileage thing though... I looked at my odo this morning and it's now at just over 200 miles. Filled up on Friday night, and a trip to Tesco on Saturday, so I think I did somewhere nearer 180 miles

Well, I managed a fairly sedate 21mpg for the run - a considerable improvement over the Tour o' Derbyshire where I managed 17mpg!!

Casper, we never got lost, merely took an 'alternative route'!

My car is even more dirty now after driving cross-country from Leeds to Derby yesterday afternoon!! Found even more cracking roads to play on!

Just so happens I will be working up Keighley/Leeds for the next two weeks so I will be doing the same

I need to recce the route for the NBO camping trip which will be a 'ToD meets Northen Meet meets Dales run' kinda route

Crumbs! Just worked out my mpg figs! Almost exactly 23mpg...much better than I thought I was going to get
Although that does also include the run to/from Derby at a reasonably constant speed
