Had some fun with an Audi TT225 on the A1 north Monday, he thought it would be clever to put his full beam on as a poor old white van went past a lorry he was obviouly trying to harass him into getting back into the slow lane. The white van was prob flat out through the gears and was doing his best to get out of the way. When the van went back into the slow lane i gave the Audi a taste of his own medicine (full beam on), he thought he was just going to floor it and shoot of into the distance, stupid poof. End of 2nd gear i was almost pushing him up the road 3rd gear i went past like he was stood still. He learned his lesson and stayed in the slow lane with his full beam OFF.

Whats even better is when your watching all the antics of motorist who is harrassing the driver infront then when he moves over a careful flick of a few switches and his day is spoiled by flashing blue lights lol.

Speak for yourself, admittedly my car is tuned but the UK imprezas have nothing on me.
My TT - 197 bhp per ton, 0-60 5 secs, 160 mph
Impreza WRX - 161 bhp per ton, 0-60 5.5, 143mph
Now just to find me a japanese **** box who wants to play .

why does the TT bother you guys so much? you know your scoobys are faster! they weigh 200 kg less for starters,the tt225 needs 300bhp to match a 212bhp? i like the comments about gay etc but some of you are well over the top.i'll be at the scooby shootout if you wanna"kick my **** etc!!" my car runs low 13's,5secs-60 at the moment.top speed 160.will be faster at the shootout. if the tt is such a **** car why post about it? i'm on the tt forums and i never slag scoobys off i like all fasr cars.

sorry? don't you think if audi wanted to compete with subaru they could! sti4,blimey i drove a 261bhp one no quicker than a chipped tt! and before you say it i know they are better round corners. at japfest 90% of sti's(post 01) were doing 15 sec 1/4's! chipped tt low 14's.

audi have tried 2 compete with subaru & failed take the RS4 where does the STi leave it both on a straight line & on a B road ??????????????

STI04,RS4 0-60 4.8 SECS-TOP SPEED 190 MPH! CHIPPED ONES ARE EVEN FASTER,SOME DOING 0-60 IN 4 SECS WITH 500 BHP.SURELY THAT IS FASTER THAN MOST SCOOBYS? THERE'S A GUY WHO OWNS A 600BHP TT WHICH DOES 0-60 IN 2.99SECS AND HAS CLOCKED 175 MPH NOT ALL AUDIS ARE SLOW. WHEN AUDI COMPETED IN RALLYS DIDN'T THEY INTRODUCE 4WD?

my boss has an RS6 an he aint goin 2 come near me with it when i get my Sti (PPP) as we both have R1's an he thinks am daft enough with that !!!!!!!
so in my opinion the scoob will win but thats in mine & his HI & u have to remember he is an RS6 owner
but as you said it does 190mph !!
but until 100mph (on most roads thats plenty) the scoob will b the daddy !!!!!

IT'S DOWN TO PERSONAL CHOICE AT THE END OF THE DAY. I RESPECT THE SCOOB FOR WHAT IT IS AND IF I WANTED AN ALL OUT FAST ROAD CAR I WOULD OF BOUGHT ONE.I JUST PREFER THE TT,WHEN MODIFIED AND SUSPENSION STIFFENED IT'S FAST ENOUGH!

They chose 'style' over substance and still they think they have a quick motor car, the poor dellusional fools.
I actually like the TT, well perhaps I should qualify that, I like the look of it, its a modern day Kharman Ghia, which like the TT will never be remembered for its drivability or speed. Who remembers the issues with early TT's on the autobahns, High speed instability - 70mph being high speed for a TT (plays havoc with your hair).
To be be honest it would suit a female much more than a male, thats why girls like them (they dont like the chaps who drive them - too much competition for the mirror).

I have been thinking of lowering by VW Beetle, the only problem is I might get mistaken for a TT, do you have a holder in a TT to hold a the daisy in, if not I will remove mine to give it a more aggressive look.
What can I do to make it more like a TT, then I can take on some of the big boys with those high powered Impreza’s.
They just bang on about cornering, there has got to be more to driving that just going round corners and fast acceleration.
