Anyway be nice to the Audi tt drivers at least when you beat them they pull over have a chat ask you about your car, and offer you some free brylcreem, and it is spelt that way, because i have the tub from the guy i beat like a filthy crack hoo!! on Monday. I got the Brylcreem modelling gel, declined the free hair cut as it was only done 2-3 days before on the Saturday. Plus i wanted to get a move on he kept winking at me and pointing to the truck stop toilets.

Thumbs down

Who was it said lighten up?
No doubt you have all now proved your point (i know i dont have a point to prove as my impreza out of the box is 70bhp more powerful than any production TT )
But the fact is, the use of "gay" is for 16 year old adolesants and you wonder why people give impreza drivers a bad name because half of you are shooting yourselves in your head without thinking
Remember, theres fun (like vidals_assoon, i like that one ) and theres plain ignorance (like sti_04 ppp will ever have a chance with an RS4/6 audi just stick a nutter in one of those and see who wants do die first )
Your also going to get Tango Oscar Sierra Sierra Echo Romeo Sierra (s) driving Imprezas as well as TT's so some of the comments may well be founded, but notice that their chairman is very neutral in this, he is a sports car fan and not an idiot like some.

It's the usual stuff you expectas you are always going to be biased to soemthing you have just spent thousands on buying.

After owning a 15K LeonCupra which mechanically is basically a FWD (although in europe they have 4wd Cupra's) TT. The Cupra even comes with an A3 dash. Yes the engine gearbox are good brake fade is a real problem though hence brembos being fitted to the Cupra R. TT's have the same brake fade problem. The 4wd system also zaps power, mid range my 180 Cupra could keep up but not gain on a 225TT. Much to the suprise of the TT owner.

My thoughts are that the TT is overpriced and a bit of a designer statement really. Yes it looks nice but I cannot help but feel you pay for the badge. Reliability of the TT is as poor as it gets for a new car. The Impreza feels as though you are getting what you are paying for and not paying a premium for the badge.

My BMW it's like the Audi in that I feel I have payed a premium just because of the badge even though it is a good car. Shall put that right when I get a Scooby in the next few months!!

Anyway this is what a CTR owner thinks....

I was driving briskly up the M40 when I cam across a dark blue Audi TT. THis one was driven by one arrogant *** - he basically was tailing everycar in front of him (despite the fact that it was v busy just leaving London) forcing them to move over, while flashing his lights and indicating right.

He then spots my filthy CTR and drops back on purpose, then proceeds to nail it up to my rear bumper. A little amused, I simply drop into 5th and nail it to 9000rpm.

Mr VAGina didn't seem to happy as he had fallen over 20 car lengths behind - must have caught him off boost So this time he tries again, and gets a severe shafting even though I'm in sixth

Thankfully he didn't bother trying again.

well said tony, there's no need for some of the comments on this thread.they probably go to football on sat. singing"come and have a go if you think you're hard enough!" jez you go on about the tt owner driving like a **** but go onto say how you pissed on him leaving him 20 cars behind! how fast were you going,i am yet to see a tt driver drive like that.when you left him behind i take it you are 100% sure he was trying to keep up.if you drive fast why not do it at dragways and not on the road, did it make you feel good beating a tt?**** on a tvr tuscan then come on this thread boasting.

Nos TT if you read the post it was not me I have a 3 series BMW at the momment, anyway here is another tail from a Clio owner....

I've never really read this section before, but jus couldn't help telling everyone about this CRAZY story which happened after i'd only been drivin for 3 WEEKS !!!!

A saturday night just as i say not long passed my test so i was heading into town with a couple of lads n couple of girls for a bit of cruise, u know how it is I was approaching the lights and saw a blue TT sat there. As i stopped i was urged on by my mates to give it run for his money in my 1.2. So i did,i got away first then he came flewing past me cutting me up BADLY!! I cant believe i didn'y hit him as i skidded into the other lane, my arsewent i was shaking at the wheel as we came to a roundabout, he was about 20 yards in front. He then slowed and swerved into me again, by this time the fun had stopped At the roundabout he went left and for sum reason i followed. He then slammed his brakes on and SMACK!!!!!! I hit his right rear side.

I sat shaking in my car as his door opened, i prayed a women would appear but out came a meaty bloak about "6.4 ( No joke i swear) Next thing i remeber is my door opening as i deseratly tried to push the central locking. He grabbed me out as i f**ked my face off the door,

##### THE SERIOUS BIT #####

He then flicked a knife out n rested it on my neck, my mates tried to help but he jus shouted threats. He then told me to drive under this shady fly-over n if i didn't he would "find me and kill me".

Anyway to cut it short he wanted me to go to the bank and get £2000 and tried to take my gold. He didn'ty get anything. My mate called the police on the sly and he was arrested. 6 months later i went to court ans was jailed for 3 years. My car was mashed up and cost £1500 to fix up. I've never sh*t it in my life so much, thought that was it.

That story is completly true ask SPIREZ cause he seen my car the next day. Bet he's in jail counting the dayz til he comes and finds me!!!!!!!

So when any TT driver goes on about how bad impreza drivers are there seem to be as many a bad TT drivers as well. Lets face it hte diving standards in this country are poor to say the least no lane discipline, bumper kissing, cutting up or blcocking people from getting in or changing lanes.

erm the tt brigade started this now they moan.

I have nothing against any car (except novas) cos its your money so buy what u like.

Personaly i dont like the tt but i dont think its a bad car, but if the tt boys want to start having a go then they have to expect a bit back.

IF YOU CANT TAKE IT - DONT DISH IT OUT.

Think you will find most of the comments on here in good fun having a bit of a laugh.

My mate has just put a scrapped Impreza engine and gearbox and drivetrain into a Ford fiesta Mk 3 it goes like a rocket. Sounds the business aswell. Its burgundy red and looks completely standard apart from the exhaust.

I don't think either Forum is doing itself any favours
****! if i was someone wanting to join either the TT or Scooby forum i would walk away.
How can you compare the two cars they are totally different in all aspects
And as for all the gay and hair dresser comments, don't you think its alittle immature and homophobic ? or do you have a problem with your own sexuallity
Take a step back and look at what your actually saying your not doing eiteher forum any favours

HEy Chav (TT owner or what)

You kind of disprove your theory as your a newbie and you have chosen to join the Impreza forum. So maybe its the TT forum thats frightening the newbies off as it has a single view of us motorists that drive the car we like. Why did they feel like they had to slate our cars adn our driving style. As it has been proven on many a case us Subaru owners will respond because we are defending the vehicles we love. and most of it is said in a sense of humour. IS your problem you aint got one. LOL blow you a big wet kiss Chav no problem with my sexuality. I love women and they love me.

TT owner yes! Don't judge all TT owners as the same like i wouldn't judge all scooby drivers there's good and bad in all, personally i would say 4x4 drivers are worst
One thing we all have in common is we all feel passionate about the cars we drive, they are both extremely good cars but also very different in all aspects. I nearly bought a scooby b4 the TT and also concidering changing to either an Evo or Scoobby in the near future, I also know other forum members who have owned both TT's andd Impreza.
Like i said previously it aint doing either forum any favours.
