FYI they are not the same paper. My Herald & Post may have the exact same amount of pages and exact same words written on it as yours but each paper is unique and different

(a trait I am guilty of too!)

I still think cracking their random number generator with an autoregressive prediction algorithm would be easier... Of course, this depends on how bright the implementers of the casino are...
Write a model of the roulette wheel and your system in a programming language of your choice, and let it run for a few hours as a Monte Carlo simulation, then see how it stands up.
Come to think of it - I may do just that and post the results up here to prove this one way or the other. (I have a feeling I already know the answer, as I believe in O'Toole's law - "Murphy was an optimist!")

Another interesting thing I just thought: Technically speaking the ONLY advantage the house has is the 'zero'. Having played my first game I recon there was about 5-7 zeros in total. Each time they cost me nothing so effectively I cancelled out that advantage
Of course I understand its not so relevant as you have to look at the bigger picture, i.e. how many numbers help you vs how many that don't but I'm just making the point

To be brutally honest I couldn't even begin to guess (must be more than that though so there must have been more zeros). This is why I think I should log it next time as this is information that would be useful to have

Excel would have been OK. It's a programming language of sorts...
You forget what I do for a living and what I do in my spare time - I've now got a very skewed view of reality now. (I'm sure I told you once... )
Not to mention a rather sad soical life

I design parts for radars in the defence industry - this includes some mathematical modelling...
Oh and I write car engine diagnostic software in my spare time.

12 pages and no mention of Martingale systems!
I'm with Imlach. Having traded & studied trading and money management for coming up to 15 years, I understand what SB is trying to do and although it may work in a small sample, in the long run, it won't.
Classic thread

It is NOT the only part of the system though
it's just the only part of the system that means anything.

I'd argue the pyramid part of the system is more fundamental and important as each new level builds in more resistance to loses
By pyramid I mean each £810 'game' generating 2 offspring of equal value
