Just in the process of starting my own business, well sort of, delivering catalogues and network marketing stuff - in the words of Del Boy - we'll be millionaires this time next year 
- or may be not!
Good thing is, it's part time to start with, and hopefully if we put enough effort in, we can develop it over time. Idea is for me and my wife to give up work, and just do this on a part time basis - here's hoping.

i run two Shell petrol station franchises, best move i ever made, in it for over 5 years now and gained enough experience to go it alone (i think), currently looking at buying my own station which should make me mega rich lol. Its hard running your own buisness but if you do it right its very rewarding.

I deal with bio-degradable plastic products. eg bin liners, carrier bags, and all kinds of colour szes and designs available.
just started the biz, so if anyone can suggest to introduce some contacts, commissions will be paid on successful deals.

Yep, it's something i've come to have to do myself as I've done my own companies marketing for the last 3 years now. Basically, I'd need to know your product, keywords, the market place you're aiming at (i.e UK, global, regional etc.), URL's of your rivals websites etc. I can't offer a guaranteed number one and some of the positioning will be 'pay per click' but these are the sorts of things we'd chat about to assertain your requirements.

Why dont you just create a company name completely unrelated? eg Bunging Holdings Ltd. Then open bank a/c in that name. Anyone can then use the term Bunging Holdings Ltd Trading as theadultsexshop.com.
You may also want to think about how credit card companys present your company name on your clients CC statements....?

hi yes i agree and i am getting around the problem -
i had already registered a non sex industry ""plus products ltd"" co name which will be trading as theadultsexshop.com and other domains that i own and intend using, the ltd co name is the name i applied to the banks under.
The problem came when on the application forms they asked what is the nature of your business and i put importing/wholesale/retail of adult equipment and entertainment products and listed a couple of domain names.
On the latest application i have just listed import/wholesale/retail and not listed any product area. If they do ask what i will be dealing in i shall tell a little fib.
so basically yes it will be a holding company for all the domain/trading names - do i need to register the domain names as companies? i guess not? as 46 of them would cost me a fortune?
Should i register the domain names as trade marks? i have owned them for several years now and have never ben challenged by any companies? again i think to register a trademark costs around £400 multiply that by 45 and i realise that i need a lot more cash!
I also intend bringing other non sex related product into the uk under the plus products brand so i will need to get that listed as a registered trade mark? i will need a corporate logo in order to register the trade mark? (RUSS how much would you charge for logo design/stationary design packs? - if you do them at all ((subject to my scoobynet discount which is VERY high))

On the form, I would just say retail clothing sales. You not fibbing and you do sell them kinda!

It is clear that it would appear these domain names are not infringing on anyone else's trademarks. Anyone, who has half a brain cell, will start a new business and make sure they can get a domain name in the company’s name or something that describes it. As you can prove you have owned these domains for x number of years (keep paperwork) they would choose something else.

It may well be worth registering Plus Products as a trademark, depends really what’s the likely hood of someone ripping your name off Vs Cost? You already (I guess) own the domain. leather goods manufacturer, make folders and blotters etc for the luxury hotel trade, also small leather goods for retailers, one of the last manufacturers left in the uk. Family business, ive been here for 7 years, dad set it up 20 odd years ago.
