The new '04 Type-R gets a bad review in the latest 066 Evo Hot Hatch Group Test.
"Rapid or Not, it's all rendered larelgey academic by what can be described as truly dreadful steering, which is noticeable when you've jumped from either Clio or Mini. Numb to the point of general anaesthesia..."
"...Far from an improvement this is a step backwards"

Wish journalists would make their mind up, quote from Evos website, December 2003
"The steering's wooliness that previously undermined high-speed cornering is now much reduced. It's not banished entirely, but lessened to the point where it's rarely a concern, while through tighter turns feel and feedback are now up there with the best in class."

Im sick of these magazines with their opinions. One minute a car is great and the next its a step backwards. I tend to ignore alot of what these guys say now, and if i want to know about a car i will test drive it and find out alot of info from the owners etc. I can say that the new 2004 ctr is very good. It has a great engine which revs all the way the 8000rpm + and will humiliate alot of cars with alot more bhp. Off the mark its not great but once its going great.
