Just worked out my MPG...

blimey, I really do need to put my foot down!
I average around 250 miles per tank (40 litres), which is nearly all commuting. I have a spreadsheet(!) and so far I get around 26-18mpg.
at least that way I can work out roughly how much it'll cost per year in petrol, and as long as its budgeted for, I don't have to worry about it.

I have a MY00, TEK2'd with full decat. Only really every drive on some good twisty B roads and cant remember the last time I managed 20 MPG. Always seems to be between 16 and 19. But not worried - its great fun !

MY03 Sti PPP..
Last night did 145 miles all m-way @ 3500rpm just about the whole way, that's 87-90 mph gave it a few tickles but mainly 90
Result... 29.47 Litres of Optimax = £23.47
= 22.36 mpg... Not too bad as it did feel like I was getting on with it!
FYI
Claim back Business miles = £17.40
Claim back off tax £40.60 after tax @ 40% £24.36 total reclaimed for trip £39.60
just in case you're interested!

hi went on the motorway filled her up speed was fluctuating up up and down gave me 180miles to 37 pounds
normal day to day driving gives me 190 miles to full tank
but hey its worth the grin factor even if it does kill your bank account
