If I had the money for some Defi's I would be interested.
But I'm now temporarily skint having taken part in this group buy and buying a load of PC components for my new machine.

Message just received from home - "there's another package for you!" Cheers Coulty & Branko.
I only gave Branko my card details on Wednesday afternoon - now that's service!

Thanks Lordharding you are a true gent.
SO about NBO2. May be up for it depending on if you tell me where and when. Would love to meet you
Thank god she thinks it was only £12 (although sometimes i think it looks like £12 worth!) although she had better not see the bill !!
Take care

Great site Ozzy, but damn that Knocklink is UGLY! Surely someone could come up with something a little more pleasant to the eye - the Scoob interior needs all the help it can get after all!
I should get out of DIY forums more often as I'd have joined in this one

Yep , agreed. Really ugly looking thing, I took it apart looking to see if I could desolder the led's to remote locate them but I dont think its a job I can do
and trying to find an auto electrician on a saturday is virtually impossible

Thanks Diesel. Yeah, it's not the best looking thing on the planet
The Lambalink ain't any prettier either.
When my Lambalink arrives, I'll add some install pics and details to my website.
I'm thinking of extending the LED's and adding them to my A-pillar gauges or the trim surrounding the dash.

TOTALLY AGREE Mad Grip. I was thinking the exact same thing - drill some small holes in say the boost guage and plong the LED's in there? Have you had the black box apart? Shouldnt be too hard to bung extension wires into the PCB where the LED's sit?
Function not Form Diesel
D
Edit to say I'll have a go - wazz it over!!! I was top of the class in soldering at Uni Woo hoo!!!
Another edit to say great minds think alike Ozzy - identical posts almost!!!

I was going to do something similar Deisel, but put the LED's in the dash just below the centre vents. at first I thought of desoldering them, and on second thoughts to just add another wire to eah leg of the LED's, but theres no way of knowing which leg is which..ie + & - so I'll have to find an auto electrician next week.
Want it NOW though
