Thumbs up

Just like to say thanks to Callum for the Video. Just watched it very good. Shame I had the turbo problems or I would have been out more. I got a bit too stressed trying to fix my own car to see everybody else but you all seem to have had a good day. Just have to find some new tyres!

Jamie.

Excellent day at KH on Sunday.
Good to meet up with Judge, Andy and Grant, nice to see a bit of variety as well.

Andy, nicest Bugeye I've seen m8

Judge - cheers for the passenger laps, well impressed

Grant, don't look now m8, but I think there's a Vampire in your passenger seat.

tO$$Er in the Vauxhaul - if we weren't in convoy m8, you would have been $hat on.

STI 04 , looks like the weekend now. Niki called tonight to let me know that the engine was now built and ready to drop into the car. Thats been four weeks by the time I get her back, the problem was waiting for the STI lump being sent up. It was two bloody weeks just to come from the south of England!!
Can't wait to get back in her. Only problem is that I need to drive like an old lady till she's run in. So looks like me and you can race each other to 3000rpm in each gear
I'm going to run her for about 1500 miles then stick the 550's in and see what can be had in terms of BHP

What you on about ya donkey! When was the P1 last on the track? Mmmmmmm..... years ago me thinks.
Don't talk to me about bottle, never stoped me taking the other Scoobies on the track.
And another thing, if my car had 4K of brakes, racing tyres, suspension, striped out, roll caged, seem welded and a 450bhp engine and only did 20 laps before it broke down, then yes I would be up for a race. But as the car is prety much a road car then I wont!

sti, I would say you are ok at 3500. I think its a case of being sensible and not having her on max boost everywhere. The engines are bench run in anyway so its not like its a split new tight engine.
Mick has booted the P1 since the day he got it, and I mean booted it! Its never missed a beat and it is quicker than other P1's. I would tend to give it an easier life for a few hundred then start to open her up slightly.

No doubt others will disagree, wait and see.

HI SOOB
Might take the P1 out the next time to totally destroy your little WRX.Then again you are still lacking driver ability.

Do me a favour and stop using the "quote" option. Makes you look a right retard! Everyone can read what I said on the previous post
P.s my car has better spec than yours any day.
If I wanted a P1 I could of had two by now.

HI SOOB is that better, you must have got your spec sheet from a certain garage. You should have bought a P1 at least you would have it for 365 days a year.

Not sure about the oil grade matey. I dont think there is a change in type. When i built diesel engine they were run on "running in oil" for the first 250 hours then used normal engine oil after that, but they were freshly built and not bench run like the car engine is before it is fitted.
