Subtyper,
I agree with scooby si (underline underscore, whatever it is... I dunno) in that not overly happy e-mailing my details across the ether.

If they're happy for individual calls I'll do that, if not and you're still collating I'd rather give you my details over the phone if that's OK...

thanks again for all your organisation...

I must admit that i am a little disappointed about B.Hague.

They are about to get a potential thousand-pound-plus worth of orders, but want us (well, SUBTYPER) to do all the donkeywork, order collection, repacking and re-posting - for a few quid discount each.

As others have mentioned, i don't feel comfortable e-mailing my intimate CC details - not that i don't trust SUBTYPER, but because e-mail just isn't secure.

If B.Hague are happy to take individual phone orders (maybe with a Group Buy codeword), and still honour the 10% discount (on the parts only, not the delivery ), then i would definitely like to go ahead. Has anyone tried this yet?

I don't think that it is fair to burden SUBTYPER with all the paperwork - if only because sending a thankyou beer through the post is a little impractical

Cheers,

mb

Hi all

Well I must admit I am a bit uncomfortable about collating all your credit card details aswell. Not that I dont trust myself but, would hate to be accused of something and then a whole lot of unpleasantness involved. I am currently waiting for B. Hague to come back to me as I have emailed them asking if we can individually order.

As this would be the most secure way of dealing with the group buy`s customers. I have received an email from Simon AKA Scooby_Si saying he has called this morning direct and ordered direct over the phone at the group buy price quoting scoobynet group buy and SUBTYPER. He did mention he didnt know if it was only because he pleaded and needed it so quick that they accepted or if they would do this for everyone.

So if you wanna try calling direct and quoting my screename and Scoobynet please feel free, but please mention the reason for calling direct is the security issue. I cant garantee they will go for it as I haven`t had a reply yet.

I hope they will elt us tho as like Boomer mentioned it would cut time scale down and also all the extra postage and stuff.

Doubt you could use the above to mount on the inside of the windscreen pointing out.

Jack,

Looking at the bracket, it would appear that it has the movement to work inside the car. Mine will arrive in a few days time, and i will let people know what its like.

Didnt mean to jump this thread, but the group buy wasnt going succesfully due to this B.Hague company not playing ball , and i thought could save some members a few quid...............

Let us know, looks to me like it'll be upside down. The Hague one has an extra bit that sticks out the side.

Exclamation

Humm?

To me, the Cullmann suction mount (GBP24.99) from Keene...

...seems remarkably similar to the SM2 Camcorder Suction Pad (GBP39.95) from B.Hague...

And Keene only charge GBP2.50 for P&P compared with GBP12.50 from B.Hague!

So, going by list price plus delivery for the same item:

B.Hague = GBP52.45
Keene = GBP27.49

I wonder if anyone from B.Hague is listening????

Received my camera mount today

People were right, its not easy to mount the camera due to the movement of the bracket, but you can see it hangs upside down absolutely fine. As my roof lining isnt there, i can even stick it to the roof

btw the pic on my camera stays upright, even when the camera is upside down, but when i play it back its upside down
Can anyone comment here please.

Not to forget the passenger side window that this can be attached to. There is some kind of adapter available, as i have used on previous track days. A guy called Krade will know where to source. More details to follow..........

Right guys MR Hague will take individual orders from customers but will need to charge the discounted price and then add the £7.50 postage and packing to your door so the way is open. We need ten definites so I need people to confirm yes or no and put a list up so I can send them to Mr Hague.

SUBTYPER,

that sounds a much fairer deal - individual orders and sensible P&P

I'm up for it, so the list is now...

SUBTYPER
LEGACY4X4TURBO
COMPUTERANGEL
scooby_si (already delivered)
Boomer (CMK)

halfway there!

I've juat come off the phone to them and was advised that they will not deal with individuals....

One person needs to ring through and buy them all and have them delivered to one address.............

mmmmmhhhhhhhhh

what's next.........???
