Found this on the shell website about the same topic. Kinda puts it into perspective! 
top trump is the "maserati GT Coupe".
If there are only 3 in circulation and say there are
1000 trump packs(avg) per station given out each week during the promotion each containing 6 cards. with 1500 stations(approx..) running for 9 weeks
1000*6*1500*9=81,000,000 cards +/- 19,000,000 cards.
81,000,000/3(top trump cards)=27,000,000
wow a 1 in 27 million chance of winning £100,000
national lottery jackpot
with a 1 in 14 million chance of winning £2 million say
