Just a thought.............

Have you checked that the Dawes is totally clean inside-If not, strip it apart and clean the ball and the seating inside, check the bleed hole is clear on the elbow, also check the spring is in one piece.Once its all back together check that you cant blow any air through it(from the ball end).
If it has been letting by,the boost level will be lower and could go as low as 0.5 bar.

easy

Question Restrictor

Will go and check my pipes around the dawes and make sure nothing has melted etc. Is it possible for that small restrictor in the pipe to move around and block it ????
At least at the moment i got a positive thought about it not being anything major, might just be half hour of cutting my hands to shreads re tubing etc.
Hi there, I've seen this restrictor mentioned a few times now. What exactly is it and which pipe is it in ( a piccie would be useful as my engine geography isn't too good yet).

Reason I ask is I've replaced a couple off pipes with similar bores as they looked damaged and am worried this might be one of them!
