Jonjo, any pics of the hyperblack? Thats another option if I don't go for the gold!
Mine are all holding up fine apart from one which got kerbed (on the polished rim). Noticed when cleaning it this weekend that what looks like corrosion is appearing inwards from the scuff. Not sure if this would happen on any alloy though - maybe it would and isn't just a fault of the BK's. Will try to post a pic of the corrosion tomorrow if I can.

Don't need any special looking after but they are a nighmare to clean but a pressure washer seems to clean them up without too much hassle.

Cheers

Offsets are genrally between 48 and 53 depending on the wheel.
Prodrive use a 53 offset on the 7.5 x 18 inch OZ's for the Classic with 215's or 225's (P1 WR is 225). But then they are extra carefull about clearance/rubbing
Compomotive use a 50 offset for 8 x 18 Compomotive MO's (these can rub the arch slightly if 225's are fitted
Speedline use a 48 offset for 7.5 x 18 SuperLegaras of GT1's and recommend 215's

P.S I love this wheel, but the extra 5 holes really bug me especially as the insdie of the unused holes does do not appear to be painted that well. The Mania wheel only has 5 (instead of 10) holes, but I am not sure if you cn get them in this colour.

I can only guess my offset, but know my Speedline Turini's are 18x8 - they clear my AP 6-pots by a comfortable margin (more so than the previous Brembo's as the AP's are flatter).

But there's oh so few wheels that will go near my car sadly (I was looking for 19"ers at one time and only the SuperL's will go on apparently), I'm not a massive fan of them, so I'm leaving out the expense and sticking with the 18's!

The Corosion is only caused by damaged lacquer I.E. Kerbing or stne chips. The only way to cure this which has been done quite successfully is get the wheels double lacquered when you get them refurbed. Also dont try kerb hopping like the toruing car boys.

Like this you mean ?

A perfect example of what not to do to your wheel and shows the corrosion which is starting to appear from my (or to be more accurate the other half's !!!) kerbing damage. This happened about a month ago and is already starting to corrode quite badly.

Any idea who much it costs to get one wheel repaired and re-lacquered ??
