Alan: Your car was set at 1.3 bar. What is your boost guage showing max. boost in 5th?
SubtypeR. Your car goes well already. If you go to a TD05 F.E. you can stick with 440s and will get towards 340ish. With a TD05-06 20G you need 550s and will get somewhere around 380 or depending on modsover 400.
Even in present state your car is capable of breaking the gearbox, even more so with a TD05 and more so again with a TD06. It depends what you do with your right foot.
Lambda is here. See you tomorrow.

i must precise that i've on my car :
exhaust full decat 3" with down pipe bell mouth
manifold exhaust
up pipe home made
green filter in stock airbox
1st air resonnator removed
inlet plenum which remove 2nd air resonnator after MAF
boost controler "XNWRX"

ecu is remapped at this time for these mods, but it'll be re-remapped for support:
blitz injectors 550cc
walbro fuel pump 255l
certainly FRP
....and perhaps td05/06-20G

i've 320bhp and 425nm torque for 1.35 at 4000, 1.2 at 6000

Max pressure
Both turbos will run up to 2.0 bar but your engine would probably blow !
The TD05/06-20G will spool as quickly as the TD05 (within 100 rpm) The 20G has a bigger compressor wheel but it requires lower rpm to make boost. The turbine wheel/casing is the main item determining how long a turbo takes to boost. This is the same on both turbos.
The maximum boost I would recommend in order to stay in the higher efficiency zones would be.
RPM - TD05 - TD05/06-20G
3200 - 1bar - 1bar
3500 - 1.4bar - 1.4bar
4000 - 1.6bar - 1.6bar
5000 - 1.5bar - 1.6bar
6000 - 1.4bar - 1.5bar
7000 - 1.3bar - 1.45bar
The 05 will be around P350/T350 at this boost
The 06 will be around P420/T380 at this boost
Assuming supporting mods such as fmic/injectors/induction/exhaust/fuel pump/reg and remap

You asked about maximum boost ! Not what I recommended for a higher mileage car !!
1.3 bar held from 3500 to 7000 should not be any problem for a high mileage car in good condition. This would give in the region of 330bhp on an 05 and 370bhp on an 06

i think i'll make 1.45/3500 to 1.3/6000, 1.25 after 6500 when i'll have 06...i already start like that with 05...

419 and 370lbs - very similar to the numbers I got at G Force
Whose RR did Jonny get the numbers on? - Well Lane??
I cant wait to get my car on at Well Lane within the next couple of months....... should be over 440bhp with latest mods - on the TD05/06!!
I've been told to put up or shut up!!! - I will get the car up there.......I'm sure that myself and Andy will be interested to see what the result will be.........

Yes Steve, Jonnys last run was at Well Lane. Let me know how you get on ![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)
Jake - A TD05FE can be converted to a TD05/06-20G. You may want to sell your front entry 05 compressor casing as that part is not required for the conversion, it's worth £70-£100 depending where you shop![Wink](images/smilies/wink.gif)
