Talking

I am owner number 3. 2nd owner had it for a very short time before trading it for a Focus ST170 (he couldn't afford to run the car). 1st owner bought the car in NI (Eden car sales) then moved to England and had to re-register it for English number plate.
Service history is full Subaru, with the last one 18th March 2003. All within 6 months or 7500miles (whichever the sooner).

The car had 19500miles on when I bought it, and I have averaged 1000 miles per month since(it's my everyday car).

And as I've posted before the car comes with the remainder of the Subaru Proven Used Car warranty. (Nov 2005).

Talking ....and that's a problem how?

I don't see how the number of owners is a prob.
1st owned loved it, drove it sparingly, kept it for over 2 years.
2nd owner bought with heart ahead of wallet and couldn't afford to keep.
I have taken care of the car and would not be selling were it not for the WR1.
I use it every day and it still makes me smile.

So come on. It's a low mileage, well maintained, limited edition, classic Impreza. What more do you want?

Make me a (sensible) offer.

Blob,

I have responded to your email and my 'serious' offer still stands, I can close the deal in the forthcoming weeks if it suits you?

I am due in Colchester this Fri/Sat and could arrange to view the car then, possibly Saturday afternoon?

I Have an RB too mate again with 3 owners the 1st was a vicar who did 9000 miles in it then traded it for a P1 ! the 2nd did 4000 miles in 2yrs and had 4 heaters in his garage (to dry it off with) wife was not allowed near it ! and then me who looks after it like it deserves. Good luck with the sale mate and don't listen to the 3 owners crap !!!

Sorry to hear that. My thoughts are that you can never be so sure of the history when when there's lots of different owners involved, and I'm entitled to have that view - surely.

I'd just rather be the 2nd owner of a 4 year old car, rather than the 4th owner.

Maybe I'm just silly :-/

Maybe I'm just jealous cos I've had my bucket for 7 1/2 years.

However, I still think this is a lurvely car...

Hmm.

Why do people insist on ruining these threads? The guy is trying to sell his car, if it's not what your looking for then go elsewhere, we don't want to read your thoughts about number of owners etc.

Good look with the sale of a very nice motor!

Madfiddler, Yr right to have your own view mate but why not just keep it to yourself ? The only thing you've done by posting it is making it look bad on the RB5 when infact it isn't bad.

Corgi, Yr exactly right my friend, too many peeps coming on and saying things are too expensive etc etc.

YAWN!!! Old news here

Look, I expressed an interest in the car early on, and then found a reason for me personally to not be interested - that was 3 WEEKs ago.... (Nice car Shame it has had 3 owners though :-/). That was it..

I'm entitled to give a reason arn't I? Then everyone else jumps on the bandwagon. I apologise for my comment, but not for everyone else who has flamed since.

If ya wanna complain about trolling, why not go look in the mirror?

Depends mate, if the condition is good (sure it is) and it has decent miles someone will have it I'm sure. I own one myself, best car I've had, much better than the standard UK Turbo and same insurance.

Don't be put of by how many owner's it's had. If a car has been serviced and looks good then who cares?? Mine's had 5 previous so I'm the 6th.

Yes and no madfiddler - you are entitled to your opinion, but the rules for posting in the For Sale section are slightly different - I suggest you read them. Just as you can't comment on ads in magazines, we try to limit negative comments in the For Sale section. Had the car not been sold, your posts would have been edited.
