Right, so the international community, the Israeli government (of whatever shade) and the Palestinian leaders shouldn't bother negotiating for peace because Luan Pra Bang thinks that the "not very nice" and "fundamentalist" attitude shown by a "crossection" of Israelis that he's met means that the Israeli government won't be interested.

Nice leap of logic.

But isn't that that part of Democracy? The parties put forward policies that they think will get them elected. If a majority (I've not idea what the majority feeling is in israel) have more extreme views, then the party that wants to be in power will swing in this direction.

I think you need to learn to read mate I have said I don't think they are genuinely trying for peace and you change that to I think they shouldn't try for peace. I have said that I have met lots of Zionist Israelis who want to kill all the Arabs in the area you say that I have said all Israelis are like that. I'm sure learn direct do adult reading classes you should look into it.

Luan, you said you had met pro-Zionist Israelis with anti-Arab opinions and then said in your opinion that was the reason why the Israeli government would never aim for peace.

What the hell has the attitude of a handful of people who've had the misfortune to meet you got to do with the stance of the Israeli government towards peace negotiations?

I'm sure if I tried hard enough I could find a handful of Palestinians in this country with extreme anti-Israeli views, should I then go on to say that because of this I don't think the Palestinian leaders will ever aim for peace?

Handful ? I have met lots and they generally supported killing arabs or taking the whole of palestine for themselves. So given Israel's complete lack of intention to withdraw from gaza and the west bank ever combined with the brutal murdering and inflamatory way they act towards the Palestinians and Jordan combined with the attitude of the multiudes of Israelis I had the misfortune to come accross I get the indication that the governmnet is not trying for peace. I can't put it much clearer than that even PS Lewis would understand that reasoning.
How can you compare palestinians you have found searched for to people you meet in clubs on buses in shops etc then spout their rubbish and only **** of when you point out that 1. I am not Israeli 2. I think the palestinians have legitimate cause for argument. This then makes them very angry and they **** off.
Despite this I was still friendly with every Israeli I met until they proved to me they diddn't deserve it.

Typical - no mention of the the Arab states who want to see Israel burn. You would think that it was all one-sided.

Moses, I'm interested in your opinion on one particular part of all this. Regardless of the rights and wrongs done by both sides, I'd just like to know this.

In your opinion as a Muslim and from your perhaps better understanding of the Palestinians, what exactly does Israel need to do to allow peace in the area?

Feel free to answer offlist if you'd prefer - I'm not trying to provide troll bait I'd just really like to understand.

Cheers,

SB

we cant chuck them out of the middle east, its been too long, loadsa people, they need to go back to the 1967 lines and give back what they took from the palestinians including jerusalem and stop oppressing and butchering people and compensate the people who have been living in refugee camps if they cant give them the right to return , then i will recognise israel as long as they dont plan the downfall of the arabs and gentiles, see thats the thing, zionists will always plan even if they have peace they will always have plans to dominate or destroy people, as we found out a few yrs ago, usa tell everything to israel if theirs gonna be a danger but israel secret agents never tell the usa if theirs gonna be a dangerous to the usa but only when it suits them.

but if they do the above my brother the arabs even the extremists will settle for that, their humans not animals, one thing i learned from my ex combat 18 friend is alot of these kids have been brainwashed when their small, they have the chance to be wonderful human beings, some of my ex **** mates have shown that, they all have kidsm kinds and wonderful ones and good wives etc and help people not petrol bomb people

alot of ex extremist friends of mines who share the same religion as me knew it was wrong.

me myself bradley coz of my bitterness nearly went astray till a english born sheikh taught me the kind and righteous way, he was good, we need more british born sheikhs who understand the problems of the british muslims, not scumbags from other countries who dont have a clue how we live or suffer.

we can relate with the imams who are born in bred in the uk but its hard with the ones from the middle east and pakistan, they dont have a clue of british muslims life.

same way the extremists can be saved in all sides.

but i do want peace, i believe israel and palestine can live in peace as long as their free and israel doesnt mess with other countries foreign policies to suit themselves.

no one will get away with it what israel has done if it was a middle eastern country or a european

have a read at this if u canhttp://islamonline.net/English/News/2004-03/23/article05.shtml

http://islamonline.net/English/News/...rticle03.shtml

and did u know a person like palestinian who was thrown out of palestine and lives in a refugee camp and now has great grandchildren aint allowed the right of return or compensation

but a scum settler who never lived in israel and who's parents werent even born their are allowed to settle on palestinian land and promised once the state is sorted they will all be compensated by israel and the USA by a few hundred thousand

makes me sick, u know why muslims hate the usa goverment, majority of it all coz of israel and then being in the holy land of saudi arabia

i hope u understand, this is what breeds in our hearts and it becomes hatred , extremists believe if they attack the usa and destroy them the lifeline of israel will be finished and then they can do something about israel

its sad but u have to see it from their minds

and one more thing

their is a joke going round some national front websites i was told from my mate

whats the best selling song in israel

answer= ms dynamiteee i thought that was funny ( female suicide bomber)

ms dymanitee sick but funny
