When I received a summons for speeding a few years back the summons specified the wrong location. I took legal advice and was told that the summons would simply be amended in court.

If I were you I would pay it.

Cheers,

Ian.

lets get this right, is it just the plate thats small or is the character size/spacing wrong?
my local plate man says their is no set size for the plate as long as the spacing/character size/stroke/and margins are correct

I was wondering that as well. My new plate has one less number and I thought about removing about 2" from either side, but leaving the same sized border as at the top and bottom. Is that legal?
