My MY00 impreza driving to work, round town, and a few blasts does 24.5 mpg I get about 130 miles out of 20 quid of Optimax not too bad really I think I could get 140 miles out of it driving under 3000 rpm all the time but what's the point in that!

Just worked it out from 6/4/03:
Miles 24,539
Litres 4,455
Mpg 25.04
Not bad for a 10 yr old wagon with 138k miles, doing the majority at 90+ on the motorway.
Oh..... and £3,640 spent on fuel

Picked it up Thursday, obviously been caning it as I'm sure we all do when we get a new toy. 140 miles from £30 of Optimax - 17mpg.
Modded WRX Import '94 running about 270-280bhp though. Hopefully this will go up a bit with normal driving, I'd be happy with 20 as don't do many miles anymore.

Just calculated mine and it works out to approx 18mpg or am I calculating wrong.
Usually put circa 50 ltrs in and that gets me about 240 miles out of my STi8.
How are some of you getting 20mpg out of 200 - 220 miles for a tank.

Yer right of course.
I reckon you must have a petrol leak mate that is outrageous mpg considering the rest of us would get double that figure!
