As far as I and a number of members are aware, if you stress that the car has NOT had the basic CC of the vehicle increased, it should be fine.

Quite bizarre mate :-(

This now worries me........

Motor Insurance - Quote & Buy Online

We cannot insure:

* Motor cycles, vans, pick ups, minibuses.
* Cars which have not been manufactured for the UK market e.g. Japanese imports.
* Cars which have performance enhancing modifications.
* Cars which are used abroad for more than 180 consecutive days.
* Cars which are in excess of £100,000 in value.
* Cars that are registered and normally kept outside of mainland United Kingdom,
the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands.
* Drivers outside the age range of 17 and 79.
* You, if you live in Northern Ireland.
* Non mainland UK residents.

There are assumptions we are making about the car and its usage:

* All drivers are legally entitled to drive.
* You or your spouse / partner are the main users of the vehicle.
* Neither you the policyholder, or any additional drivers have been banned from
driving in the last 5 years for anything other than a single speeding offence.

Please call us on 0800 514 514:

* If you have an existing Liverpool Victoria motor insurance policy.
* If you have had more than 3 claims in the last 5 years.
* If you require more than 4 named drivers to be included on your quotation.
* If any drivers other than you and your partner have made any claims in the last 5 years.
* If any driver other than you and your partner requires cover for business use.

Unhappy

It's strange this just take pics and no increase to premium from L&V my policy with L&V is £780 in a G Postcode full 75% no claims and I had to list all mods and was charged an extra £17 and for that they send out a new insurance schedule with the following groups of mods listed. layout as doucment.

Details of vehicle registration number N??? ???
It is a SUBARU Impreza WRX (Import) with an engine size of 1994c.c.
Year 1996
The SUBARU Impreza WRX (Import) has the following modification(s):
Wheel/Tyre modifications
Suspension modifications
Brake modifications
Exhaust modifications
Engine/Carburettor modifications

So if you don't get it black and white from them, then it's really is worth the paper it's printed on. No proof you told them no claim.

make sure you get a revised schedule.

Just my thoughts.
Ed
