AFAIK my car is completely standard apart from the bonnet scoop, yet you think it looks cak and not at all worth a second glance, so why do you own an impreza that is essentially identical looking, the only difference being the engine in it 
Ppl don't take second glances at the engines hidden inside the car they see the exterior and the Impreza is a good looking car.

didnt see one ourelse they probably would have. have u ever heard of being nice? it is only a standard sport but it is the same shape as every other classic scooby so it must be nice. personally i dont like the wheels but there aint anything wrong with the rest of the car.

no offence but if you think that a sport looks the same as a version 5 type r then you need your eyes testing again
a sport is just a bog standard family saloon
with my eyes i do not see anything worthy of a 'fantastic' or 'very nice looking car'.
all i see is a red saloon

you do know that the chassis is identical to any WRX GC8, right?
The only exterior differences are the spoilers and the addition of a sideskirt & front lip spoiler - and those are dealer options which can be omitted in Japan.
I've even seen a WRX come direct from japan without the "worshipped" WRX bucket seats, because there was an option for headrest removable seats. The car is still an EJ20T, but the running gear is identical to my EJ20 non-turbo. The only difference between my non-turbo and that EJ20T is the intercooler, turbo and the associated piping (oh and that stupid bonnet that anyone with an FMIC doesn't need either).
Ever seen a serious drag WRX? They look exactly like Kiowan's sport, no frills.
Tell me this, can you tell what kind of gear is under the hood from this pic?

But then again, arguing on the internet is like pushing water uphill.
So why can't we just be appreciative that sometimes people can't afford the bling and **** cars, and just help them out with tips to improve the car, without pushing them into making monsterish cars?

Some like Sports, some dont. I respect that people have opinions, but do they have to be voiced every time the word "Sport" or "Scoop" is mentioned?After all this is a Scooby forum, so why all the agro?

I have a sport, i like it, better than my old cavalier/mondeo/stilo
Not as nice as my old MY97 Uk Turbo though, but i cant afford to run a turbo as an everyday car......at the moment
We are all scooby owners on here, what does it matter what model it is??

Why attempt to alienate someone just becuase their car isnt standard and has bits from a high spec model? As someone said this is Scoobynet for all not just STi Type lar-de-dar.net
Fair enough a sport doesn't have the dramatic presence of a big winged STI but its still someones pride and joy. I've got a UK turbo and would like an STi V5 wing - I take it that puts me in the same boat as the sport owner with the bonnet vent does it?

Madjay u silly little kid,when u know anything about scoobys then feel free to post until then get on with ya homework ya spotty little oik.Both the P1 and 22B were based on the type r so how am i trying to make it look like either of them.I havent bigged my car up at all i did was make a comment about putting stupid scoops on sports end of.Take ya head out of ya **** u stupid child and get a license.Pah kids.The only P1 item on my car is the splitter and thats to aid with downforce at high speed not that ud know that as it probably isnt publicised in your comics.Do something constructive and get back to ya top trumps.These kids are so brave to try to insult ppl from behind a screen arnt they,id love to see you say that to me in person J *****.When i want to take advice from a 17 year old loser like you ill ask but until then do yourself a favour and disappear

also i doubt u'd have the nerve to say have of what u do aff the screen, and sayin that ur car is the base model for p1, 22b doesnt make it a p1, 22b cause of argument sake the chasis and engine of the sport are the base model for the WRX, so by ur logic why shouldn it have a turbo bonnet.

So Shrek am i allowed my sport? (doesnt have a scoop) and sorry it is my pride and joy and its a hell of a lot nicer than my old mondeo!
I have no problem with peoples opinions, if we all had the same and thought the same how boring!! Just dont try and class all Sport drivers the same.
