good drive lads! hope ya liked the route, the climb from Edale to Mam Tor is just like a rally stage, plenty of sideways and air

hope my drivin didnt put ya off the next one, but i dont like 'sunday drivers' gettin in the way of a good stretch of twistie , you will have to join us on our mid week evening drives when a lot less traffic.

sticky: apologies for my mate marx slowing your evo up

and give me a shout if you do a moutain bike ride out that way, i know one or two decent trails too

cheers, peccy

Just walked thruough the door.

Top day's blasting about on some fantastic roads. Thankful for the Vectra slowing us down on THAT descent (Drop?, What drop)

Cheers for being the guide, Peccy. Don't apologise for Marx, you were holding him up

It's a wonder his car goes at all with all 30stone of himbehind the wheel

His power/weight ration must be phenomenal!!

Madgrip & Stevechaps, shame you had to go. You missed a fun (?) hour or so. Hope both your cars are okay, and that you enjoyed (most) of the drive down there.

Peccy, I'll be in touch about another session, will try and make one of yer evenings out in the near future.

Nick, Roundabouts on bypass were proper

Haven't been down there since I had the Mundano. Lovely slide round the last one, just before Shafton lights.

Think me motor needs a service now.

Sticky

Yeah, nothing too bad, the bit on the bottom of the bumper had only popped out of it's fixing so that's OK, need a chipsaway fella & 2 alloys refurbing (One needed it anyway!) other than that no worries, except the confirmation that the tyres are definitely shagged after 800 miles!
With hindsight I'm beating myself up for being so bl@@dy stupid, the Focus behind was P1$$ing me off so I had slowed down to a crawl to get a big gap to Phil then floored it. Guess the thing is a bit more powerful than when we did the hairpin on the track , either that or I learned nothing at Rallydrive & still can't drive for toffee (My money's on the latter btw).
Anyway, no harm done.
CU at the Karting for the next instalment of the 'Steve Tries to drive something with 4 wheels & a Steering Wheel WITHOUT making an **** of it'
