in an economy where anyone can start a political party if they wanted to, if people DIDNT agree with the policies, then someone else could simply start a party that had identical policies to labour ASIDE from the immigration issue, and they'd be 100% certain to get in power.

personally, if i didn't agree with ALL of one of the party's policies, then i'd use my right NOT to vote. why vote for a compromise, or vote in a party who are doing things you DONT like? if you do, you end up being another one of the people who vote for labour, then winge about the things they do.

since issues like immigration are at the forefront of people's minds at the moment due to the media coverage, we'll see what happens at the next election. if labour stay in power, then we know people must agree with their policies on this issue. if they didn't, in a free market like the uk, they'd be voted out, and another party would be given a chance, even if they weren't optimal. otherwise the current immigration policy is either agreed with, or people don't care enough about that policy and it becomes a non-issue.

no. im saying if someone voted for labour and weren't happy with their policies, then i would question WHY they're voting for them. especially as they're RE-ELECTING them, so we have experience as to whether they do what they say or not.

to be unhappy with a major policy of a party and still vote for them is nuts imho.

I will be voting BNP in the next election as their policies benefit me as I am not a criminal, scum, asylum seeker, pikey, thief.

I am sick and tired of labour spending all their time and money on the above while the rest of the country goes to ****.
