Another excellent weekend at Knockhill (Yes I like driving in the rain!) Great to meet up with everyone again Dougster,JohnS,David(DR Motorsport) all drove brilliantly despite the conditions and passed some very expensive machinery in the process!
The show was slightly marred by the pi55ing rain, however, and going from tent to tent was more of a sprint than a pleasant amble. Stunt show was pretty good though.
Some serious motors on track on Sunday, most notably a Lambo Diablo, and hats of to the owner for taking it on track in the wet. (JohnS looked pleased to bomb by it out of the Hairpin)
Thanks to all for making it a good couple of days.
P.s if the wee guys at the side of the track,I believe they are called 'Marshals',are waving Red flags dont overtake anyone! It gets you chucked off the track, trust me!

Sti-04,
Yes mine is the 02 STi import. Stickers were only put on for the weekend as part of an agreement with those suppliers who gave me parts for the car over the past 2 years.
Judge,
Just put a name to a face. So yes no passing under red flags.
It was a good weekend though, weather on Saturday afternoon was dreadful, but Sunday wasn't too bad.
I'm glad Knockhill gave us their media centre to hid in, and to feed and water us.
I enjoyed meeting different owners over the weekend.
Problem with a normal track day is you turn up, go to the briefing, out onto track, go home. The time flies in and you never really have time for a chat.
So that was nice for a change.
Best bit was the salesman from Mitsubishi trying to convince me an EVO 8 would be better for me - until I pointed out the problems I had with the EVO 6. Then how they were going to win the WRC next year.
Classic, and he believed himself too, that was the best bit.
