As WWSD pointed out earlier, what car the **** has doesn't matter. He's a **** for saying what he did, especially if he was benefiting from a lift. If someone came into your house and started rubbishing it it would be a measure of his politeness and upbringing, not how good your house was. I fcucking hate ***** who equate money with worthiness of a person. God, if I was the bloke giving the lift I think I would have felt like running him over after I'd chucked him out. There's just no excuse for behaviour like that.

Scooby and embarassment - certainly 2 words that don't go together

I love Scoobs and as already been said couldn't give a t0ss what other people think, I have always felt proud to be driving my Impreza.

The TVR is a kit car .... LOL

Seen under a few and was a bit shocked at how they are for something so expensive, and honestly, bits just seem to wear out, fall off, come loose, catch fire etc.

A lot of TVR's lead hard lives, and they must be fun, but the build and reliability is seriously flawed.

This guy is usually quite sorted, which is the worst bit. Unfortunatly I ain't the boss so I cant terminate him. I think I did quite well. Also everyone else was quite happy although one of the guys said "Its just a bloody huge engine with seats" that I found quite funny.

Also I think its gonna be a fun summer car ! Only problem is its so goddam addictive. I think ill need to upgrade something sooner because ive become a power junky

Hmm, looked under the bonnet of the tuscan and it seems pretty well made to be honest, (especially for a hand made car).
You want to look underneath the bodywork of a Noble or even a Lotus. Then you'd be really shocked at the poor build quality.

There are a couple of people at work with Ferraris, and you'd be surprised at just how unreliable they are as well, (and you have build quality problems even with these), and these cars cost significantly more than a TVR.

Dunno why people insist on continually bashing one of the uks only genuinely independant sports car manufacturers when they really aren't that bad

When you have cars that have this sort of bhp and torque, they have to be treated with respect. It's a shame that people seems to drive them as though they are quick Mondeos or something...

Had 2 TVRs before the P1. All great cars just in different ways and each has suited me at different times. Sure the TVR's were fast....until it rained!!!!!

I'm embarrased by:

My constant need to make sure I park it in safe areas when no ******* will either try and nick it or scratch/dent it

The urban fuel consumption

My chattery recirculating dump valve

The road noise inside

And of course....The Bright Button

"Did u remind him his car is a bitsa. bitsa ford, bitsa rover, and bitsa a few other cheap parts all stuck together"

that brought back a few memorys back in 1998 i used to run a tvr parts department and it used to make me rofl when tvr never desguised the fact which parts they used off different manufactures.
the parts used to arrive in there own manufacture boxes so my parts department was full of ford, vauxhall, rover and even land rover parts boxes lmfao

the technicians favourite tool was the good old 'cable tie' amazing how effective they are at finding missfires

that was enough to put me off tvr or 'trevor's' for life

I had my 2 TVRs over a 4 year period and not once did either of them break down. There were a few glitches mainly electrical (small things like the passenger door opening by itself doing 95 on the A27!!!!). I loved the cars but they could be a real effort to own and cost a bomb to get serviced (£600 per visit!!). The modern TVRs are engineered almost fully in house, including switchgear, and are considerably more reliable. Everyone should 'drive' a TVR once in their life - it is memorable. But times move on and I need the extra seats, and a bigger boot, and a car I can enjoy in the winter as well as the summer.

Either that, or he's just rude.
Never slag off someone's car, unless it really is a heap of junk, & they know it That only applies to ancient nissan micras & Yugos though... Sounds like a bit of a t!t to me
