Most fully comp insurance doesn't cover you third party on another car unless you are 25 and above!

Thats what I mean.... I wasnt aware of that...

...just assumed cos Im fully comp with tescos and have third party cover and she is fully comp with tescos that she would have the same as me!!!

Prehaps I shouldnt have assumed but Im sure you can see why I did. If I knew that, she wouldnt be driving my pride and joy I can tell you!!!!

Will check it as soon as I get home 2nite

At least you only have 2 years to wait.
Once you're 25 a few companies will insure you with 5 points no probs.

I'm not a saint so I aint gonna preach about whats right/wrong etc.

I was insured TPF+T on a £2k car last time and the insurance covered me for any other car third party.
I'm insured fully comp now on the scoob and Tesco wont let me drive other cars until I'm 25 - doesnt make sense does it?!!

Jay bee - she isn't insured mate. My misses is 22 and fully comp with zurich, she was with Tesco who don't allow driving other vehicles till over 25. Zurich won't let her drive it either. She has done in the past but after reading about incidents such as Big Fs its put me off the "It'll be alright" attitude.

Has she any NCB? A few years ago I insured a GTIR at 22 with Tesco and put my then misses on as named driver at no extra cost as she had more NCB than me.

Edd - Cheers m8

Yeah, shes got four years NCB. checked with Tescos and your right, its a no go - she aint got 3rd party cover, so I tried to put her on mine as a named driver... another no go...
They would however, insure her with her own policy...which in itself is b0ll0cks but wait for this.... cheaper than me Im 28 with 4yrs NCB!!!??
I mean WTF is that all about?!?!?!? Fookin red tape beaurocratic bullsh1te

A well pi55ed off Jeff

Edited to say - pi55ed off cos she cant drive me motor back from boozer any more
