Moses, stop being such a wimp and put your car in for TOTB, there is more than plenty of time for you to learn how to launch between now and 1st August.

The good thing about TOTB is there is a qualification criteria, therefore there is no real shame in getting beaten by anything there as it must already have proven itself to be quick. Based on lots of the launches last year fear gets the better of most people when there is a crowd watching.

and yes mate kevs terminal is far too good some skylines with 700 bhp dont come close and some do just touch 148 with 800 bhp
and as u know keiths his was over 150
so kevs got a mean machine that is wooo

mo,like john says i,m just realistic with figures.
i could spout a load of crap claiming i had more power and most folk would beleive it, but the truth of the matter is my times tie in with a GENUINE 600bhp.
its never been on a rr or dyno because i dont care about figures..its what they do in car that counts
i fully beleive keiths car was 800bhp to do 153mph terminal i recon i,d need another 100bhp to match his 9.9 1/4
or better traction to help....... but i have that in hand

Was out in Keith's car a couple of weeks ago before his manifold went and that car is feckin rapid. He is such a sound bloke, I guess he will be looking to dabble more with the engine so God knows what sort of power he is going to get

kev mate the reason i asked was as u know yourself thats too good of a terminal
and all the cars with 600 bhp dont come close
only manuels go with 700 bhp does a quarter in 10.72 miles as i posted a vid standard gearbox and his terminal was 144 but he has 100 bhp more than u
and 142 is a very good terminal

I still say that these days are as much use as rolling road days , same day comparisons and being able to reproduce similar results at a few different days/events.
at totb2 , the terminals were "out" in one lane. at crail last weekend the times and terminals got questioned . this is not a problem when it is the same for everyone on the day but could lead to arguments when comparing to other results from different days/venues.

the terminal speed is funny for a 11.726 run at only 111.726 as below davids time was slower but top speed faster.
going on the times e.t.c never the less keith still wins on the day well done
( did you know we built that engine with agra)

it was assembled by u and built by agra coz of sam and all the stroker, valves and pistons and rods all came from sam and extreme and crower america
all u did was take the engine out and put it back in, everything else was done by sam and agra and sam told them what to do
u didnt build the engine
this is sams own spec i bet u didnt tell anyone that

only difference was sam used his own turbo and different valves to andys and mines
and sti nutter bros mashallah 12.3 your cars capable of 10's but u need traction thats a big prob with the mr2's
and nice terminal for a car that must have took ages to get off line

no he cant gt3240 will coz him the same prob as mines and he will loose power and make plenty of back pressure as mines did
he needs a g3540 with a 0.82 housing i have both housings to test
if its too laggie i will use only the 0.82 i need a 106 for nos maybe
and u have to remember our stroker crank is the same only the valves are different and my pistons are different compression and other mods
basically the rest is the same internally
and
sam has 3 turbos a gt30 2 versions and a gt3037 his version better than the hks one and makes more power and faster spool up

Would he still not be up on bhp with the gt3240 surely it will flow more than the HKS 3037s.
I can't remember the figures than you got with the GT3240??? I thought it was more BHP/Torque than keiths with his 3037.

yes their was mate 1.7 bar with 610 bhp and 511 ft torque but alot of restriction 2.5 bar back pressure it was making the same power at 2 bar
problem starts at 1.5 , housing is too small for the 2.3 stroker i was the first one to test it with the bigger turbo
so why do that if u cant run more than 1.6 do get good boost
i rather run 2 bar and 2.2 bar
so if he fits a gt3540 im telling u 700 bhp here i come
