Just checked my CC balance and the petrol I put in last night has gone through but as yet nothing about the wheels, so it's safe to say it's not done automatically.
I'm expecting an e-mail canceling my order soon.

If they have billed you then I'm sure they have agreed to the price and should honour it. I'd say you have a bargin mate!

I still doubt it, ways round this like saying out of stock/end of line blah blah blah here is your refund sort of thing. Whats to stop them refunding back onto the credit card without your permission? Not much I can do about that is there?
I'll be amazed if they actually honour that price. I have had no email confirming despatch etc. They may well be taking legal advice on their position, I know I would lol.

Lying barstewards - apparently an order placed from a store is different to an order placed on the web so they can't fullfil it.
I'm amazed at their crap customer service though - I would have come clean, admitted a mistake and explain that under the T&C's they were not obliged to complete the order (all wrapped up in a big apology).
I suggest everyone who ordered and paid calls them aand bugs them about it.
There is no way we will get the wheels as the T&C's mean they can cancel at any time but I'd like to hassle them anyway!

Might be worth a wind up along the lines of i'll wait for the wheels if they are out of stock and when they say no i'll say I will go and have a chat with my solicitor..... ![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Gavnik u got the name of the one who was rude/bad customer service? Nothing like winding someone up for a bit of fun

the reply I got on the reason for the refund
"Thank you for your recent on-line order. I regret to inform you that the wheels that you ordered are temporarily unavailable. As a result I have refunded your payment in full.
Please accept our apologies in this matter.
Kind Regards
Fiona Huddleston

C'mon guys - give the company a break. Put yourself in their shoes.....you know what you did was morally wrong if it worked, and obviously they're going to try and prevent themselves from losing £500 or whatever on every sale. Multiply that by 200 potential sales, and they're looking at a loss of potentially £100k. That would wipe out their profit for a while....
All this talk of solicitors - ROTFLMAO - you know the T&Cs mean they can get out of the sale....so why threaten them?
