Hi, thanks for your response. So with the reflash, you run 22psi of boost which is controlled by the ECU? I always thought a closed loop computer would need a boost controller to turn up and down the boost. I guess I am out of luck with an upgraded ECU as they need the whole car. Two of my friends who have the Evo IX put on an upgraded exhaust, some defi gauges, a boost controller, and got an upgraded ECU from Japan tuned to run 22psi of boost. I guess I should wait to see if they blow up before I attempt anything like that. I was actually trying to get an upgraded computer so that I could take out these Evo IX's on the track. The guys with the IX's think they are going to be Subaru killers and I really wanted to put them in their place, or at least do a low 12 consistently and reliably.

Not sure if subaru do give a 1/4 mile time, but 0-60 would be quicker than a standard sti or even poss ppp sti as you have a lighter/modified car compared to the sti, then further mapped to either uk fuel or still on 100 ron jap fuel..
