Get well soon, take it easy, my uncle had a Heart Attack at 40 and lived until Cancer got him late in his seventies.
J4CKO, 33, also feeling uneasy, mainly for being two stone overweight, and also for owning a Fiat Coupe turbo.

Thanks for all the replies, makes me feel a little better.
I was in bed asleep a week last Sunday when the pain came on, thought it was indigestion at first. An hour later I was in the back of an Ambulance wired up to the ECG with lights and sirens on my way to hospital. Spent a few days wired up to drips and monitors and they let me out Friday.
It's still a mystery at the moment, I'm 35, only about a stone overweight (5'9" and 12.5 stone), no family history, cholestorel only 4.4 (Should be 4.8 or lower) and never smoked. Only risk factors I have is a stressfull job and not as much exercise as I should after swapping to a desk job.
Part of my heart has been damaged during the attack so I'm unsure on what I'll be able to do when recovered from the initial shock. I'm still feeling very rough and weak, not spending much time on the PC.
Just a warning to all those that smoke, on the cardiac ward there were 32 males, I was the only one that didn't smoke. Trust me a heart attack is not something you want to go through, try and give it up.
I hope to be back on my feet in a couple of weeks, can't drive for four weeks and have to inform my insurance so that should be fun.
Thanks again and see some of you soon.

thats frightening tbh I gave up smoking for that very reason but still have no excercise and poor diet etc. For you to have no contributing factors that are obvious just highlights you can't take anything for granted.
Good luck with the car insurance but most importantly of all with your recovery and get back to full health asap!

Good to hear you are on the mend
Get yourself enrolled in a good Tai-Chi class as soon as you are strong enough
Most teachers have specific 'cardiac recovery classes'
All the very best to you
