Hi mate

Yeah, nitro fueled car... 1/8th scale....

Just finished servicing it, 3 nights work in total, how sad am I.... All in the interests of entertaining kids though... Me being one of them...

Just had it out in the cul-de-sac for a quick run-in session, spluttered for the first tank load of fuel, second was blisteringly quick using the whole tank in <5 minutes...

All set for some fun tomorrow now...

Cheers
Si

Aye, and it seems that our driving styles on the road are similar to the 1/8th scale model, me sideways and you in perfect straight lines... No idea how you kept it so straight on the loose surface...

Now then, now need new wheels, suspension, and roller bearing hop-up parts to make it off-road worthy again... LOL

Cheers

I would, but there isn't really anywhere to run it at Chris'.... Other than the road, which is going to be half as wide due to a long line of Imprezas, a Ford RS Turbo and an EVO

We'll see hey, you never know...

Si - I feel the need to organise an official WYIOC RC model car track day.....

Andy - Question two - what fuel does it us?
Question three - does it have a turbo?
Question four - how many doors?
Q5 - how many seats?
Q6 - Is it a saloon/estate/hatch/convertible?
Q7 - Where was it manufactured?
Q8 - What age is it?
Q9 - Alright, I give up.... What make & model???
Q10 - not necessary, due to Q9...

Grr.... Didn't realise that this was a cumulative game....

So, it's a Japanese saloon with a turbo. Narrows it down a lot. And you mentioned earlier that it would be more acceptable at the WYIOC.

Might be an Evo 8 1/2.... MR 340.... That's not another question by the way Andy...

S'pose it could be one of those Imp Prezza thingies....

BTW, I need to see some of these RC cars, 'cos I'm thinking of getting one to play with.

Can you get Evo bodies, or is it just the 'poorer' end of the Japanese market that's available

Can't afford an MR340, and if I could I'd still hold out for the 'possible' FQ450 to appear (or be denied by 'Bishi)

Getting warmer? Who knows?
