WR1Bro, what mudflaps/colour have you gone for ?

P1Ben......splitter on Rum's car? whjats this, got any pictures

Sounds like there's some shopping to be done.
At the moment they are going to be black STi flaps. Dealer is looking into the possibilty of black PRODRIVE flaps which is what I would prefer since I don't believe you can get WR1 flaps?

Sounds good, next time pick on some more worthy opponent though, I can take TT's easily in my old classic wagon.

Reckon WR1 V M3 would be a good one.

NACRO

It would be no contest, I have a mildy tuned WRX MY03 and i've now beaten three M3's quite easily, especially on handling. A WR1 would kill it!!!

Hell it's the driver and not so much the car. I let a well tricked up sti catch up with me on the motorway(France, Non toll) and every time he got close i put my foot down( standard wrx). He lost it at about 120-130mph l] backed off. Toy's for boy's!!!!!! or mad machines for men. I than let him pass me when i was doing 80 mph just to see the look on his face. He should have spent the extra money for an sti on some good clothes and a chin job.Saying that i've been done by renault 5's and the such like on blind bends more times than i care to admit here...nutters.

jon17, judging buy your title i am thinking that your age has something to do with you answer...................had x2 p1's after blowing the first, gti-r 300bhp, and last was evo 7 for last 2 yrs which from running in was the taken to 320bhp, after only several thousand miles in my new baby, M3 i can say that when you come up against an M3 driver who can drive instead of looking at him/herself in the mirror.......then you do not stand a chance and neither would your WR1, petter sloberg, wrx,sti8........
What out for the """""""UNDERSTEER""""""""

Gutmann - only just seen this - the 911 is my fave - and I will definately have one, but for now something like a gently tuned Boxster offers 80% of the handling and fun for almost half the price! On cross country pace (using all 7,200rpm through the gears) there is very little in it, in fact I would go as far to say that the Boxster has much more neutral handling that enables you to drift it between corners with much more commitment .......

Clive - funnily enough - it's coming my way (and the wife to be gets my Scoob = everyone happy!). I chose the cars colour and spec (v.high), it's mint and he has only put 12K on it in 4 years (with a full Porsche service every year regardless of mileage) - so should be a good buy as we have agreed I'm going to pay him what they offer as a trade in .......
