The flag epidemic is spreading, I have noted that the typical flag waver is most definitely of chav origin. In true "more is better" chav style, it is now a common sight to see two flags on each car.

Oh my god - humans showing their support for their national football team. Millions of people all over the country tuning in to cheers on the boys. A few hundered around and about get a bit too drunk and have a kick off so the other 99% are all bad eggs or "Chavs" etc...
I dont have any flaggerooonies on my car - only for fear of them getting knicked when I leave it parked somewhere. But I've got the England tops etc, have booked off loads of time over the last 2 weeks of June for liver recovery - big St Georges flag about to go in the front bedroom window - I love the Euro/World cup thing - as any football fan should.
And DONT compare kick and clap southern girly rugby to football or anything else - there werent any flags etc for the Rugby Union World Cup because no-one gave a fork.

It was interesting to see the tidal wave of apathy that greeted the rugby team after we won.
Even the tabloids seemed to be a bit half hearted in what you would think would be a golden chance to get typically jingoistic.
C'MON ENGLAND!!!!! (dont let my username confuse you!)

Nothing wrong with people showing their support for their country in this way. The only stereotypical thing about them is that they all support England. I've got a banner in the back of the car for my footy team - I must be a Chav then too!

If you look deeper into the roots of football holiganism you will find that the hardcore element do not wear the colours of the team they 'support' (although not really supporters in the true sense) it is highly organised and most will not even have the ticket for a game. I am pretty sure there will have been an organised fight at the playoffs final between Cardiff 'Supporters' - and West Ham/CP fans no where near the ground. The ironic thing is that the ones organising the fights on their mobiles between each groups will be going together to cause trouble in Europe. Do not think for one minute that the hardcore people intent on violence will be driving arround in cars with England flags on and wearing the kits

Like it or not football is the only sport in the world that routinely has gang violence associated with it. Any normal sane person would deplore this sort of behaviour so what does that say about the sport and many of its followers?

Full of it
There are some people on here that are really full of it..chips on shoulders or what...LOL
Why not have another 2 sections on here called Wales and scotland for english bashing??? Then you put your twoddle in there and we can ignore the plain boring and usual english..blah..football..blah..rugby..blah..h8 the english..blah. If you dont like the fact that english people support england when they qualify for a cup then try showing a little support for your own countries qualifiers...Whats wales and scotland doing this year in any rugby, football, cricket, or infact any sports this year???
Tell us when you get your flags out so we can post up here guys but i think it will be a while...
If you want to learn about chavs properly as well check out
