Yes, I've always found AutoCar to have a slight bias against cars like scoobies, probably not deliberate I'm sure They seem to review an Impreza as if we go through the same criteria as someone who buys a car just for transport.
They seem to get upset about trivial things like interiors and fuel economy!!! Yes, I want a rally dervied, powerful saloon with sharp handling - oh no wait I've changed my mind there's no two tone leather and **** warmer!!!
It's supposed to be a value for money, performance car, not a fuel saving, uber comfy, yawn experiece
I do thinnk they miss the point ever so slightly when reviewing these types of cars.
I've always found Evo magazine more performace car owning driver orientated, and a much more reliable resource for reviews of fast stuff.
I'd quite like a go in a V8, rear drive saloon though
Rathy.
P.S. I don't work for Evo.

I had a heart attack a few weeks ago so I'm off work at the moment and my search for a trackday/weekend special is on hold for the moment.
My consultant says I need to buy a Mountain bike instead.
Cheers
