Once again the link between racism and stupidity rears its head. If people are too stupid to realise that this argument is fatally flawed then they should definitely not be allowed to vote.

These days there is never a day goes by when I don't see or hear something that makes me realise just how numb much of the population of the UK really are. Many people in the UK mock those in the US for being stupid. Well I've got news for you - I spend much of my time flitting between working in the two countries and the average Joe in the US is far more likely to be able to present reasoned and logical arguments for their views on political issues than the ****e that gets talked by many of those in the UK.

Some people think you're dumb - vote BNP and remove the doubt.

I'm not going to say who I am voting for.

However. There has to be a limit to the amount of immigration to this country, legal or illegal. If this country needs workers, then surely recruiting overseas is the way to do it - not just let people into the country to eventually find work.

At the end of the day, immigrants are prepared to do the same work as a native person, but for less money. For example, drivers from abroad working at Domino's pizza are prepared to take £4.00 as a starting wage (full time!!) I cannot see many British people working for less than £8000 pa. I worked at Dominos part time, and for every British driver that worked there, there would be at least 4 migrant workers, with little command of the English language. They would inevitably work for around 6 months, and then return to their country of origin. I have seen this happening, before accusations fly. The simple truth of the matter is, that these people can earn good sums of money (for their country) which they can then return home with.

These people in the most part do want to work and not scrounge. However, if you have a migrant workforce that will happily take less money than the native workforce, then it is inevitable that the native workers will be pushed out of work.

This is a definate eventuality, unless the balance is redressed.

For example. If there were no migrant workers, and the native workers in the area would not work for £4.00 per hour, then the wage would need to increase, just to fill positions. This is surely a good thing - it allows a good basic standard of living for all workers in the UK.

Who would be running the corner shops if there had not been a large migration of workers in the mid 20th century? Who would be cleaning the streets and handing out parking tickets? Following on from the Royal Mail program on TV a few weeks ago - who would be delivering our mail?

The standards of living in the US are significantly higher than they are in the UK - one of the reasons for this is because of their strict immigration policies - they taking workers they need and no others. Of course excepting the Visa lottery program.

A political party which is prepared to stand up and say no to all the bullsh*t we are going through economically, socially, demographically even is going to get a long hard look at from me.

u should go and meet one for a talk and ask them questions u wanna know, i would talk to anyone bnp, extremist in my own side, ****'s , extremists in any religions and good people, coz i luv to talk

u know what its like when we were small and getting picked on and we couldnt even go and play in the parks coz the white gangs would batter us and chase us around and when my mum used to pick me up from school how the neds would spit on us and call us names and pak* this and pak* that

As i said,go and listen to people that live in these Lancs town,before you call them stupid.This is hardly likely to change their voting habits is it,calling them stupid? Its very convenient to just apportion blame on "stupid" voters,just as its convenient for the BNP to blame immigration for all the problems in these towns.

The people in those Lancs towns you refer to should ask themselves whether a vote for the BNP is actually a positive vote. The BNP peddles a message of fear where all the ills are blaimed on somebody else. I can sort of understand a vote for the BNP as a protest vote born out of desperation (because of ...???) but I cannot see the BNP actually doing anything that will benefit those towns in the long run.

If you were the boss of a foreign company, would you want to bring investment and create jobs in a Lancashire town which had voted in an anti-Euro, anti foreigner MEP ?

Brit, not arguing, but I live in a country where last time 20 % of the voters gave their "confidence" to our version of the BNP (if not a bit more radical). In the nearest city, they got 40 (yes, fourthy) percent of the votes.

Not all these voters are racist, and not all racists voted for them...

They will probably do even better at the next Euro/local elections

I hope the UK doesn't follow us (it's one of these things where one could learn by looking over the channel...), but somehow it's in the cards.

There seems to be a lot of anger, fear, confusion, disgust with the "established" political parties, and unfortunately, "voting with your feet" means voting for a neo-fascist party.

Scapegoat, bouc émmissaire, however you want to call it, it's the game that is played worldwide. The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switserland, Austria (to name a few) all have seen some pretty weird voting in the last 10 to 20 years. I hope the UK might give this a miss, but I doubt it.

It's not convenient it's true! We seem to agree that the BNP 'racist' policies are flawed. It is not difficult to see they are flawed when you just think a little. Therefore people who are sucked in by the BNP's policies without thinking are by definition stupid.

If more people in the UK would sometimes just sit down and think for themselves a little instead if believing everything the gutter media (and I include some sections of the BBC in that) tell them then just maybe idiots such as the BNP wouldn't get as far as the do.

Trouble is that would tear them away from their beloved football, the pub and reading The Sun/Mirror.

Problem is you can't make people think, certainly not in the UK anyway. I agree with what you're saying wholeheartedly, but unlike you I think there's no chance of doing much about it due to much of the population's lack of interst in thinking for themselves and their blind belief in everything they hear/see in the gutter press.

I swear the number of times during April I heard people talking about the promised May 1st East European invasion all fuelled by our beloved media of course and then of course when it didn't happen they just start trotting out the next load of racist ****e that has been stirred up within them rather than questioning why it didn't happen.

Basically I've given up on the UK as most people here are only out for what they can get (thanks Mrs. T.) and have no interest in really tihnking abut the future of their country and what might be best for it.

Is it no supprise that people are voting BNP when us English who are proud to be English are being slated, such as in the threads about our flags and stadium.

Politicians will need to listen soon, qa lot of people are crying out for some kind of dramatic change.

If this has been said before I apologise, In Sheffield (Hillsborough) the police are making drivers remove the flags (St George) from their cars so not to offend the inhabitants of the area. Need I say they are not white. This is what people find offensive, this is what pi$$es people off. I do not want to rant I do not want to sound Racist, but this is one of the reasons people will vote BNP

I thought the likes of the Sun was pro-Labour. And certainly last time I flicked through the gutter press left in the tea room, most were anti-BNP too.

But then, thats what all the media rely on to make money - negative and imflamatory news. Press says there is too much immigration, bogus asylum etc. And they brand a party claiming to solve this problem as racists. It really does show how daft the media is.

Hey Tiggers - that's because they all got in before the May 1st deadline - you obviously don't read the BNP Evening express do you ??

When I was young the BNP's recruitment campaingn ran along the lines of

"Want to join us bashing the local Pak*s (It's OK Moses it didn't tempt me then and it doesn't tempt me now)"

Now they seem to have done a 360 degree turn to

"Send the local Pak*s (and everyone else without a St George flag tattooed on their ****) Home (Read anywhere but white Engerland)"

They can hide it however they like but they still have the same message at heart - Keep Britain White !

If you Vote BNP this is what you are voting for - And If you think all the problems in Britain are down the the Non-whiteness of the population then you need to get out more !
