I know how to get the Tartan Army angry (years of trial and error and I finally came up with my solution during the last England v Scotland (Argentina) footie match).
I was nearly lynched at the pub in Aberdeen when Becks scored his penalty as I jumped in the air and celebrated - Why was I nearly lynched - cos I was wearing my Scotland Football top - You should have seen the faces on the rest of the Argentines (Scots / French / Swiss / Croats delete as required).
The other thing to wind them up is to say that Archies goal was OK and Jim Baxter was a poof

If I was to be 100% honest then i'd have to say, as a PROUD member of the Scotland Travel Club and Tartan Army, its not that we (Scots,Welsh,Irish) hate the English team its the bigheaded @rseholes in the media that ruin it for them, if it wasnt for them spewing their bile about 66 every time engerland get a corner or throw-in in the oppositions half and were a little less well a lot less biased actually in their commentating (Mr Moustache "Silvestre should have been sent off" F.A. bout David James tho..?) then we wouldnt be so veciferous in our support for all englands opponents.
