To be fair, is abuse hurled at a foreign national Liverpool player by a Celtic player (who was probably anything other than a Scot) is hardly an example of national bigotry

PMSL imlach
I think we should all sit down together, chill out and enjoy a feast of haggis, neeps and tatties all washed down with a fine malt whiskey

Surely as a Scot you'd drink whisky rather than whiskey?

I think something that has been overlooked is that, on a National level, the Scots and the English are quite different cultures. Perhaps more so that people appreciate.
Perhaps if we all accepted those differences, rather than assumed each other thinks as we do, and thus must be tossers 'cos they don't agree with us, then there wouldn't be half the issues there are.

In my view that certain match with france was a very bad one 'off the pitch'
The days leading up to the game we (scottish) had to endure BBC,ITV and Sky publicity...which was on the tad side 'full of themselves' for England to beat france...now if it was a Scotland vs. france game the media coverage would be half what it was these past few days..Thats what gets on my nerves

Indeed imlach
Whisky = Scotch
Whiskey = Irish, Burbon etc etc
Bit like you can't call sparkling white wine "Champagne" unless it comes from that region of France.
