Yes its a United Kingdom, a united kingdom of Scotland, England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
Just because there is a union, doesn't mean to say its constituent member countries can't have cultural differences

LOL Jye, they really are a bunch of no hopers. Half of the homes they set onfire belonged to Welsh people! Obviously didn't do their homework very well.

I haven't the faintest idea, I don't speak Welsh. Like I said earlier, I'm British first. I have no time for Welsh independance. Hasn't been a nation since the thirteenth century. The language is vile and better off dead (I actually think Gaelic is a very pleasant sounding one though).
Diablo, cultural differences yes, doesn't make a country though. Scotland itself is full of cultural differences, as is England, but that doesn't mean you should have lots of little countries inside Scotland etc.
I don't think there is anyhting wrong with having pride in a Scottish or Welsh identity though, that is fine, but this whole hatred of all things English is just plain stupid, and to see people wearing France or Argentina shirts when and England match is played is just disgraceful.

The situation that isn't a biggie is the fact that most Scots don't like the media hype surrounding the English team. Whatever it is, more than likely jealousy who cares, it's a game ffs, then all of a sudden we are bigotted racists!
