The issue should never have made the news etc, you go to a school with a uniform rule, you wear the uniform required- simple as. 
I dunno what it is with muslims in this country, hindu's etc dont kick-off all the time with stupid demands. I was reading on Reuters recently that over 60% of working-age muslims in the UK are on benefits, and 15% have never worked - and clearly its because they cant find a job that fits around the demands of the religion. Almost like its not compatable with the western lifestyle, so maybe they should make some changes to their regilion?

Agreed. They come here in search of a better life. Fine. I would never suggest they forget their beliefs however they MUST accept ours and they have no cause for complaint. Like all Citizens they must obide by our laws - they were aware of this when opting to come here.
