To the WR1 owners out there............
"Hope the WR1 manages to impress people enough that they don't care about the shallow, characterless guy behind the wheel...because he is sure to dissapoint." That comment was aimed purely at Clive the Brave, not at the WR1 owners in general
As I've said before, the WR1 is the best official UK scoob ever IMHO, but I like my flawed classic.

Very disapointed you have to lower youself to try and take cheap shots,,,, that miss....... Just like the American's when they go to War.
Cheap shots
Miss everything they go for and hit everything (British Forces normally) other than what they should.
Nice try but,,,,, BYE BYE..........
why don't you tell everyone how much ££££ you have again.......... did make me laugh,,,, MR, Shallow

This is not about how much money we all have, it's about how you individually read a thread - and more to the point how individuals react to a thread based on their interpretation Trolling springs to mind
Anyone can go and buy any car they ever want to own, they just have to resort to other methods than paying cash Finance is freely available if you are prepared to pay the high APR's currently being quoted, but if you want something badly enough you'll live with that. If you want something badly enough you'll find a way of getting it, just happens to be that for some of us it is easier than others I have owned a whole range of cars since I was 18 and now I am considerably older and wealthier (sounds better than richer) I find it easier to afford the cars I like.
I think the point being missed here is that people like Chuck and me, probably other old farts as well , can afford any Scooby we want as they really are cheap in the bang for bucks department compared to Porsche, BMW etc.
Yex the old fart in training....I'm 40 later this year so may have to buy a little "something" to commiserate with.

You F@ckin dope.
Rather than stroke your ego on SN I suggest you get down to your local Night School to brush up a little........Pr!ck
If you're representative of the New Age Impreza owner, god help us all.

Devil Dog,
Be prepared to be scolded like a naughty child by Tel
He seems representative of the WR1 owners. Guess that's what happens when you're told by your Subaru dealer you've got the fastest Impreza in the UK - and believe it. truth hurts I guess

Anyone else find it amusing that some WR1 owners are criticising people who believe in magazine road tests above all else, yet most of them bought a car they couldn't even test drive?

true very true buying a car without even driving it COULD be a nightmare in all honesty though we all know what the WR1 is like (to a degree) it isn't like your changing models or going from a mini to a range rover

there are ways and means of telling somebody they're up their own ****, Craig, without the need for personal insults
