I found Mobil 1 Motorsport better than Semi synthetic but Motul 300V Competion made the Mobil 1 seem like wee wee.. engine was smoother and less rattly etc..

No, I don't like to put any of those kinds of addictives in my engine..
The oil flushes out anything that shouldn't be in there when you do the oil change, feel they are a cleverly marketed item that do nothing but cost you money and possibly risk damage to the engine..
My engine has never been flushed other than the normal oil changes.. about to hit 150,000miles.

The conclusion of the "Lubricating a Subaru" report was that a 5w-40 or 10w-50 was the correct oil for the car depending on the type of driving you are doing.
I am hoping to post the full 5 pages up here in the next couple of days.
