Bob, Dave cheers for the offers

Been on hols for a week in Lanzarote which gave me time to think - going to start ripping the old engine out this week, then decide on the plan for the new power plant after that and once the engnie bay is minted

May need some help along the way so will let you both know.

Sorry to hear it finally let go Simon..

But very glad you avoided the 4k bill.. gezzzzzzzz!

Buy the cheapest engine you can complete from a breakers.. 1.6 or 1.9 fit that and rebuild the 16v yourself??
