Been on hols for a week in Lanzarote which gave me time to think - going to start ripping the old engine out this week, then decide on the plan for the new power plant after that and once the engnie bay is minted![Smile](images/smilies/smile.gif)

Sorry to hear it finally let go Simon..
But very glad you avoided the 4k bill.. gezzzzzzzz!
Buy the cheapest engine you can complete from a breakers.. 1.6 or 1.9 fit that and rebuild the 16v yourself??
