I'm sure Simon agrees with your sentiments about not paying? I'm also in SIDC, but thats no excuse for not supporting the site in ££'s.

Time on the forum doesnt give you any automatic rights. And as far as I can see, I've been on some 30 yrs before either of you But i wont hold that over you both

Not time on the forum but time behind the scene's, help with mechandise before the Current shop was up and running, beta testing software and days out to help Simon with his other work.

Marky San your not making friends with your comments and if thats what you are trying to do then why bother paying for a forum that you got no friends on. if you dont like what you see go else where mate. Dont think anyone actually asked for your comments. Also Phil cant wait to get the video up on here of my "SHOCK HORROR SUBARU STI" with the fantastic ICELED kit on. You supplied.

That smart car with rear screen looks mint wonder if I can get a number plate shaped screen for the rear.

Disagree. Lots of people put their cars on for viewpoints (as Salsa did) whether good or bad. So, in your world, if you dont like semething you say nothing? Glad I dont live there then. I made my view, like you have. I give my view for free , you dont need to ask - I am that generous

Eh? You've lost me here. Who said anything about friends - either making or losing them? However, your deffo off my christmas list now

I'm sure if I was upsetting the guys they would say so - I've seen and been part of many posts with them and know they would not be slow to tell me if I'm out of order. I dont see any nasty comments that your clearly trying flavour in here - try looking at the smillies as well - they do help

OK - you win. I'll send you that Xmas card - I've obviously hurt your feelings. But please keep the bungee jump since you clearly have enjoyed your first attempt.

Anyway, should this not be back on topic for Salsa's sake? Maybe someone might have sensible points (good or bad) than you or I have to say?

Salsa dude I am just curious about a couple of things and I understand if you don't want to answer as quite frankly it is none of my business.

a) What happened to your scoob?
b) Why did you choose a smart car? Is it company car? How much you pay for it?
c) Are you going mod it all up and make it a show case for your products?
d) What engine mods can you get for a smart?
e) Are you the guy with the fit bird? (lol)

a) sold Scoob on 16th Jan..wanted the 'right' DUTCH MY03.. had a few weeks looking for a nearly new MY03 WRX.... found two. 1st the guy still had HP on it, 2nd.. found out last min that it wasn't a DUTCH car.
b) said stuff it... needed wheels.. so went round to Smarts R Us (5mins away from me) to get cheap run about to get me back on the road (this was 28th Feb.. so had a good few weeks with out a car!) 18months old 8k miler £5200. Basic PURE model. still has Fogs/EL/CD player + turbo lol £75 a year tax.. £25 of UL does me over 300miles..... 'I SAW THE LIGHT'.. nad have money in my pocket now.
c)Loads.. and all cheaper than Scoob parts.... will add some ICE ufo LED kit under it in the week or so. Forge DV fitted was fitted first day along with Smarts R Us Re Map.. now doing a full 61bhp lol. Alloys will come later. Just buying a OE BRABUS front spoiler as we speak (mainly cus it will fit the neons better). Tints done and I'm happy.
d) www.smartsrus.com
c) no.. you must have mixed me up with someone else LOL

I love the car now... its nippy-ish, 599cc Merc engine.. what more can i say! lol
saving so much dosh.. Plus panels are plastic.. no door knocks in tesco like i kept getting with the Scoob... and no chance of car jacking again lol

also www.funkysmart.co.uk not a bad club too

Hi Phil, thanks for answering them. Was just curious as to how you went from scoob to smart

Sounds like you are enjoying the smart which at the end of the day is the most important thing! 61bhp you say? My mini cooper was 65bhp and man I loved that!!! Forced to sell it due to having to drive long distances regulary and at 6ft it aint exactly comfortable!! I bet the smart feels like you are flying when you nail it? What performance figures does that relate to, I bet the smart only weighs 2kg so you get a reasonable BHP / Tonne? Man I did'nt realise it was a merc engine hehe
