Larger boot space.......oh and if the brakes on a STI PPP are the same brembos as on my STI....then the brakes.

oh and the CTR has more cup holders.

Having owned both an STi PPP and a CTR, I can say the differences are monumental! CTR doesn't even come close!

The 2 cars are not even in the same league.

Its not even a fair comparison, its ike comparing some Olympic boxing hopeful to Mike Tyson!

BTW, the boot on my STi is bigger than the CTR.

More cup holders = more chance of a passenger spilling something on my lovely interior!

Also, the brakes on the CTR are nowhere near as confidence inspiring as my old STi.

Oh as a little asside any of you guys who have a CTR, or were thinking of getting one but were worried (rightly) about the wooly steering. Then as a must get a decent fast road set up from someone like ABP motorsport, for the sake of a few quid £60 - £100 depending on where it totally transforms the handeling. Oh and replace the Bridgstones when you can for Toyo T1's.

Ah but the rear seats fold down on the CTR...you try getting an IKEA flatpack kitchen in a scooby. As for brakes I guess my bug eye is just a tad heavy compared to an older Scooby. Or I eat to many cream cakes : o

ive had a type r for about 4 months now, having chopped in a ppp'd uk300. yes the performance and steering arent as good, but vtec is very addictive! for the money i dont think you can get a better hot hatch(imo, of course, i had a clio cup before the scoob and will NEVER have another one of those french sh*te buckets.!)!
the running costs are significantly lower than the scoob, for example im paying approx. £400 less a year for insurance, ive got a 3 year warranty and aa cover (not that it will be needed!) not to mention the fortune im saving on juice!
however, in the future i could well part ex it for an sti.....

I had my type R for 6 months - couldn't cope with the power band and constant wheelspin - so went and bought an 03 WRX ...... much better everything!
